He or she would have to look elsewhere, but that's not the main point. The point I'm making here is that you feel that there is such a thing as "total freedom of choice." And I've provided an example refuting that claim. There's really no such thing as total freedom in any way shape or form as long as people can operate on a discriminatory basis.

That's the main point and for some reason it's not resonating in your thick skull of yours.

Is it possible for people to discriminate for reasons other than race, gender or orientation ?

When I mentioned "reasonable" grounds to not hire someone, I was referring to the merit or lack of experience. I've already went over that, but you catered to selective reading.

It's a "YES" or "NO" question

I've provided the answer to you. Don't like it, then tough shit. Use your head. The answer I've given is common sense.

You're wasting your time my friend, discourse provides that both parties are willing to consider the validity of commentary by the other. In his case, he's stuck with his wrong thinking attitudes, unfounded principles and lack of logic. He'd have you to believe that a business should have ultimate rights, lol, that they should be able to operate free of all laws. Where have we seen this before??? Oh yeah, the same hands off attitudes that resulted in the economic upheaval that we're immersed in now. Where else, how about the damage done the environment by greedy private businessmen who dump carcinogens onto land affects drinking water sources, how about air pollution caused by businesses. Businesses, public and private, MUST be regulated, least the greed of those seeking profit rule above the rights of the ordinary citizen to have their lives un-infringed on by the result of unregulated business.

And this is the very issue I have with libertarianism. It seems "perfect", but only in theory. Even within that, it contains too many fundamental flaws with the reality of things and he's too oblivious of that. I don't know why I entertained him at all.
