Assuming that you weren't in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, I'd assume that you don't flash everyone. So, I still think that it sounds like an "unscratched itch", lol. What can I say, I like euphemisms.

I think that through the last couple of decades men have come to understand, whether by the media or accusations of sexual assault, that you should never assume anything. Given the background of drinking, there was even more reason to give pause and consider the flashing simply the actions of a tipsy woman, and not a "come on". I mean, how many times have we seen the behavior of college aged women during Spring Break celebrations who flash and strip naked on occasion, outside of the club settings.

You are right. It wasn't a come on. I wasn't even attracted to him then.

If you are thinking all that ^ when looking at a woman's tits then there is a problem with over analysis.

She is upper thirties in age and not on spring break. :p Most times alcohol removes inhibitions and you do things you want to do sober but don't have the courage.

I would agree with you on that last line, but that time, it really was just a stupid "ha ha" moment because he was so inebriated that I figured he wouldn't remember. We were slapping his face, slapping his ass, he did nothing about it. So, my ex coworker suggested I flash him, so I did. We all laughed about it. My ex coworker's wife gave him a 5 minute lap dance.

The only thing he remembered the next day (of course) was me flashing him. LOL. I was like, of course you remember that. D'oh. But whatever, it was fine.

Honey, I grew up in the 70's, pre HIV, pre herpes...things were a lot more causal back then than in the 80s.

I seem to remember you commenting earlier that you had a 3 week rule. Does that apply to blow jobs or just intercourse? You indicated you wouldnt consider a woman who slept with you "too early" to be respectable. I'd change the dating system in a heartbeat too, but that wasn't what I was getting at - I'm talking about the "guys are studs, girls are sluts" double standard. It's a perception thing, not an activity thing. And one which, by your statement, you apparently buy into.

I didn't make your point for you, I made the opposite one. You want an engineer? Talk to engineers, not the HR people. You want a woman? Talk to women about it.

I was talking about this to a guy friend about a month ago, and I brought up the whole double standard and this is what he said to me: the only reason why guys aren't considered sluts for that behavior is because women aren't demanding that they not be sluts.

I said, huh, you have a valid point that I can't argue with. It's true. It's EXPECTED that men sleep around so we don't even think twice about it, most of the time. But we (as women) should expect better from men.

They are going to take my gallbladder in 9 and a half hours!!

Good luck! You'll do swimmingly!! It's an easy, easy surgery. My sister had hers taken out, a friend of mine had hers taken out.

They don't even make a big incision. You'll be fine!

Well, I have no doubt he would be totally interested if he met you outside of work. Some people aren't willing to cross the line on dating at work. Loss of job or change in colleague relationship level make them not want to take a chance. You just have to decide what you are going to do with your feelings.

I thought the same thing when I read his post but was too tired to point it out.

Something, something, blah, blah......

Humpty Dumpty had a big ass
Humpty Dumpty had really bad gas
All the king's knights and all the king's cops
Couldn't stop Humpty from dumping his rocks.

Well shame on you for being sexist enough to believe all women operate the same as you and your friends do. Like I said before you may know what you like to see done but CAN YOU DO IT. Certain things require experience not just theory. You may watch basketball on tv and even play a few pick up games at the park but you'll never know as much as a someone who plays in the NBA. Most of the best coaches were professional players themselves not someone who played at the park and saw games on tv.

I agree there's a double standard with sex but its more because women show me that more so than men. No man I know thinks he's his woman's first so we don't expect chasity but whether you believe it or not there is major correlation between promiscious sexual behavior and women with deep rooted psychological problems at least as far as I've seen. A comedian said a quote that fits our conversation" men would love to fuck a thousand women once. Women would love to find one guy to have sex with 1000 times" it lines up with our biology not to mention I've yet to see a guy moping at home because he had great sex with a hot girl and she hasn't called him back. I've seen the reverse numerous times.

THAT is unmitigated sexist shit, right there, DK. Wow.

And you're still holding to your 3 week standard? Wow. No, that isnt a WOMAN putting that on you, it's yours. You've said it, you own it.

I'm alive!! LoL Anyway, my surgery went well. It was weird because I don't even remember falling asleep. I remember him giving me the anesthesia (sp?) saying, "Ow" because it was stinging going through my veins at first and that's the last thing I remember. Then I woke up. Then they moved me to a third room and gave me Pepsi and a chocolate chip cookie and a pack of crackers, heh. Some pain meds. Then I came home and have been sleeping mostly. I'm awake now and going to take another Percocet. But I feel pretty good. :)

Good to hear Britty! I'm glad you're doing ok! :D

Lol sure thing.
Stop internalizing I said that's something I've noticed with women I've met and know. For women sex is easy its finding a good relationship that's hard. That's usually the goal. When I meet women focused more on sex than a relationship there's usually something wrong. Keep in mind my peers and women I date aren't over 50 so the goal for them is still marriage not just a good time.

But your goal is sex, so why is it wrong for the women and not for you?

Its not about right or wrong just an indication of mental health from what I've observed. I'm not saying in all situations because I haven't experienced all situations but usually the girls who are quick to give it up are either really damaged emotionally or trying to prove to themselves they don't want love because someone hurt them.
On a rare occasion you do run into a girl that thinks sex is a way to get a guy to like them.
Like I said earlier I have yet to meet a guy who is at home upset that a really hot girl he had sex with isn't calling him back. He's not wounded over the idea of a situation being purely sexual. I've seen the contrary with women.

You still haven't answered the question.
