@Tree&Nicole: <3 I'm not sympathy fishing, hope it didn't come across that way. I'm out and getting to where I should be, it's just harder and slower than I ever thought it would be. I'm just giving myself a hard time for not being able to magically be "normal" and free and escape, but I did make it eight days(from constant contact before that) which is a big achievement. I just thought leaving would make it all go away and it didn't, leaving was the easy part, escaping is turning out to be hard however nonsensical that sounds. Link them to it. I don't know quite where your someone is at, but it's posted on a forum specifically about that kind of relationship and the stuff posted there is an eye-opening read for anyone in or just leaving one. edit: also interesting articles on there for people just generally wanting to know more, I know a couple of people on here were having trouble understanding why people stay, etc. and there's stuff about that on there.
lippy left for the airport with two layers of clothing...sweater...furry scarf...mittens...boots...arriving in san diego...i peeled it all off...it is very warm here and quite beautiful...as i left my hotel this morning i saw people with their surf boards on carlsbad beach...lots of runners out...the ocean is breathtaking...the men aren't too shabby eitheri am getting up early in the morning...heading to starbucks and plan to sit on the beach for a bit and just take it all in...
It didnt come across as sympathy fishing at all. I'm truly sorry you're having to go through this - I know it can be very difficult. It's not unusual to experience the post-leaving part as harder, either. Hang in there, and keep NCC'ing the best you can.
If you get bored, you can drive up to the Camp Pendleton area. I used to stop there for breakfast en route from Los Angeles to San Diego. If you time it right, you can enjoy breakfast while watching the marines do their morning run ;-)
I'm all moved in to my new place. I just need to go back today to get my food and move it and fill holes in the wall. My complex makes you pay $70 to have your place cleaned when you move out. I hated the thought of paying that but my back is sore and I pulled a muscle in my calf, so today it seems like a good idea.
Not only that, but who wants to be bothered with cleaning the old place? I'd be all about the new place! Lol! Don't forget to post pix!
i am coming home today...i really want to stayits so gorgeous here...i just text my son and he has been cleaning up leaves for two days... glad you got all moved in...i would pay the 70.00 and consider it money well spent...enjoy your new place
spent around 2 minutes cleaning my DVD from a RedBox vending kiosk be warned, with no one on the scene to check and maintain the DVDs (an advantage of a store location), you're literally getting something from one renter's hands (or paws) to yours swear the stain on the DVD looked like dried jizz:shock:
Quarantine: 2 pretty aptly titled, considering what looked like bodily fluid on the top of the disc:roll: i wanted to dip that badboy in a vat of alcohol, lol
Ew. That's so disgusting! I just rented my first RedBox DVD...Bridesmaids. I was not impressed with the movie, but I found the RedBox experience pretty awesome.
it's very convenient and free of employees that try to get you to buy popcorn, or some other shit you don't want, I'll give you that. The rentals are MUCH cheaper than blockbuster and hollywood video also. 1 Dollar to rent a new release is cheaper than cable pay-per view. They got a good deal going on, but stuff like that comes at a price. They charge low prices but no one is really providing maintenance on the returns, lol. I would have never thought renting a new movie or game, would be the equivalent of getting a bottle of soda from a vending machine tho. Plus you can go to them any time you want, which is a big bonus for me since I get home when everything is closed. Pretty innovative on behalf of someone, but at the same time only adding nails in the coffins of the retail stores.
