That's really interesting. I've pretty much focused on the finance side of things but never considered the health care applications. Something to ponder thanks. At this point I am really hoping to get published but I won't be considered until at least 2013 if I get into the Phd program. I'm doing research on a cost benefit analysis model of dating and matrimony as it directed by Grim Theory. These papers take a crap load of your time. Hey how does one even bring up salary in a casual convo? Dude was seriously trying to get with you lol
"Hi I'm Brad and what I lack in looks I make up for in intelligence and a six figure salary" or "So I make six figures how much do you make?" I hope she schools us cause I might need this later in life lol
I didn't either, that's why I found it intriguing. You will get published, no doubt about that. I don't know why he mentioned that, he went on about how many PhD's he graduated etc. He did ask for my business card - but "I didn't have any on me".. I am not interested in Asian men for some reason.
He lacked personality and threw a couple of hail maries. Poor guy. Most women don't find Asian men attractive. I guess because many of them have very feminine frames?
Someone that bring sup their salary immediately is suspect and off putting in my book. Asian or not. But you are correct imo. ?.
lol all this educational talk had me look up part-time PhD programs friendly for people that work. I found one at Drexel at their Information Sciences college that has evening classes. Then of course you have the part-time J.D program at Rutgers. The world isn't quite over for the working stiffs after all. you'd think more schools would be willing to open up more programs to part-time students, to bring in more funds.
Just trying to impress you. I always thought dating got easier with age guess not lol (another variable to consider)
I think he cared more about his career. Men tend to do that. also how old was he? I'm not surprised about the math part. Math is the bases of all the sciences.
A lot around the NY area are but mostly for finance and business. Hell they even opened up an NYU Stern extension site at my alma mata and its state school not even ranked in the top 100 but the area is pretty affluent and they know people around there will pay to get an MBA from there. Stern is always in the top 10 with Harvard B and Wharton for business schools. The best I could do for the program I wanted is in either Danbury Conneticut or Long Island. They should make more math and science dual programs accessible to working adults since that's the area we are lacking in big time. We don't really need more people who can shuffle paper around on Wall St. Can't front though its pretty cool that if you get picked up by Goldman or Price Waterhouse your ass can be a millionaire in 5 years if you're a shark 10 years if you're a guppie lol.
right now, they are on top since so many people think the key to getting a job is going back to school. The other issue may be that because of diffculty of both school and work. Those students are less likely to get a degree. This would lower the schools creditablity and not to mention the 4 to 5 years of money they would have gotten if they had not hired a working person instead of one with no job but plenty of scholarship or grants. Speaking of which how's PSU doing? love the football team. lmao:smt043:smt043:smt043 What the media builds, it can destroy.
what are you majoring in? I ask because there is a thing to be said about popularity and competition.
I can only shrug. I think you know what you are up against. I say that because in business there is a lot of competition especially on wall street. To make that decision, you probably have plan that stuff out very far.
