That is where she is wrong. The speculation! You lead people on to something that is not true. I never said that she didn't say there was a search. Irrelevant information to move off point of her speculating something that was found to be the mother performing a search.
again this is irrelevant information to the fact that she speculated incorrectly. No one is arguing if the search was done or if they knew about chloroform. The argument is if that speculation was true. It was not.
Again This has nothing to do with breaking a neck. It has to do with Nancy's speculation that was not found to be true. Her kid was not going to get the death penalty either way. They did not have the evidence. You could see it from a million miles away. Nobody seeing it happen. No video tape. Nothing. You need evidence. Of course none of this has anything to do with evidence that Nancy was correct on her speculation. What we have is a mother under oath saying that she did it over any one having googled it. We also have a prosecution that choose to lie about the search and state it was done over 50 times when it was found to have been done far less. A lot of sources say that it was done once. It is entirely possible for a nurse to look that up once. If she did lie that would be perjury. Yet the courts choose not to prosecute her. You know why? because it is possible for someone with a science background to research chloroform. Bad speculation by nancy.
Once again Arch, just because her mother lied on the stand, it does not make Nancy's speculations wrong. Know why? Did you witness the cross-testimony of Cindy?...She was at work during the times of the searches.
At work.
So you see, she wasn't home at the time, because co-worker after co-worker as well as her Boss testified UNDER OATH that Cindy was working alongside them. So no, she did NOT do the searches, Arch. Nancy was indeed right.
While it was actually uncomfortable and sad to see Cindy lie, it was understandable (though she lied while her granddaughter lay cold). Even though you say Casey was never going to get the DP, a mother would never risk it just because
you see it from a mile away. She did what she felt she had to do. I think my mum would do the same. Wouldn't yours?
It was a documented fact that the DA considered charging her with perjury after the trial, eventually declining and issuing a statement on it. I'm sure the State spending as much as they did on Casey only to lose, along with putting her mother through a trial for wanting to protect her daughter was likely to them cost prohibitive and seen as futile.
It isn't essentially walk away scott free. A slap on the wrist yes!
but not scott free.
Like saying 1+1 is essentially 3. No, It isn't. You got to stick to the truth. You and I both know she went to prison. That's a fact. Light sentence yes! but no essentially walk away scott-free
Saying she did no actual time for the lying to the police is not putting 1+1 =3! ON
paper it said she served time, but SHE DID NOT GO INTO PRISON for that crime to serve it
when she was sentenced, since she had already
done time for ANOTHER crime.. Do you get that??
It's akin to saying that if Zimmerman gets convicted for lying and having already done the time for a previous crime and
thus given credit for time served - we can then be satisfied he was convicted and served time for it. (as if that somehow also connects to the punishment for the murder of Trayvon).
Because remember, all this goes back to Aliona saying,
"..You can't pull such a heinous crime against a child and get away with it. not when it's so high profile."
When I pointed out Casey (which she completely agreed with), you said "
No, Aliona was correct, because Casey was convicted on several charges". Do you understand that those convictions did NOT pertain to the heinous murder of her child?
Could you imagine if you attempted to pull off that assessment to negate non-punishment for the killing of a child if
Zimmerman was found not guilty of Trayvon's death?? It would never fly, just like it doesn't fly here now. I told you way back in post #126 that Casey was NOT convicted for the heinous crime against a child and it still stands in this one. Frankly, it is you who should stick to the truth.
