If you would hit the lottery today and all of a sudden you would be a millionaire, what would you do? Would you spend it all, donate, make some investments? Share with family and friends? What would you buy and how do you think would it change your life? Would you, for example, quit your job or move somewhere else?
In this order... Split the money, 50-50 with my parents. Keep promise to donate money to friends (which is only three for sure). Become a venture capitalist and invest. Live an "upper middle class" lifestyle. Become a dual citizen of both Canada and US. Travel Acquire other degrees for flexibility.
First i will go a small holiday and relax for few days then when i am back i will see what is the best way to make more money because getting the ready money spending with out bring more can easy finish even in few days lol then i will spend and enjoy and give to relatives from the money i make ... will donate too but will take my time
What I wanna do if I hit the jackpot?? Hmmm.... -Travel to Europe and the US -Put aside a couple thousand for some other stuff -Get a MANSION!! Okay I'm just kidding on that one. -Endless shopping spree -Donate to chairty -Give my best friends some chunks of the jackpot load THE END.....?? xD
I would invest it. If you invest smart in different sectors like gold, properties and shares you always have cash money for yourself, family and friends, if it's necessary. I would go on working and tell nobody
It depends on mainly how much is the jackpot. If it's less than 5 Mio, you cannot do so much with it, but you can take care to profilerate and not to lose it. If you are successful, you can do all that charity and helping out of the profit. But also donations, I always think should be more in a way of credit( i.e. micromoney) than just giving it for free, then you can help much more. If the jackpot is 20, 50 Mio, then of course you can be much more generous and plan differently. But always I would go on working, jet set isn't my thing, and I would be very quiet..
Give some to my mom, dad, cousin, couple aunts. Travel. Live in Japan for a year or so. Save the rest and occasionally ball outta control.
Split the money into three accounts. One for me, one for hubby and one joint account for our home and family. Then... Pay off my debts. Give money to my mother and father. Give money to my sister and her family. Give money to my husbands family. Buy a house (with acres of land). Buy a car (no, I don't have one right now ). Buy a plane ticket and go and live with my hubby until his visa comes through (and then fly us both home to Aussieland). Buy a home in Kenya so we can stay there when we visit hubby's family. Donate (regularly) to several charities and look into starting a couple of new ones that I think are needed. Do volunteer work regularly (even more than I am already). Set up my own studio space at my home and spend LOTS of time painting, and maybe even start up my own gallery for local artists. Do the advanced dog behaviour and training course I desperately want to do. Not sure what else. I'd want to support my hubby in what ever he wanted to do with his share of the cash too.
If I became a millionaire because of the lottery this is what I would do (in no particular order after the first one): Put in my two week's notice at my job (after I received the money into my account). Send my parents on a cruise (my Mom hates to fly) then give them a lot of money to do as they wish every month. Pay off my house (that my ex lives in) and give him money to live comfortably, though he's terrible with money so I would retain control over it to ensure he doesn't run out of money. Drive my car to a junk yard and take a sledge hammer to it until I couldn't wield the sledge hammer anymore. Buy a modest home and have maid service and a lawn and landscaping service. Buy two cars - a Mercedes sports car and a Jeep Wrangler. Donate money to Diabetes research, and the local museums. Volunteer at the Field Museum. Travel, travel, travel. I want to see the archaeological sites in Europe and the Middle East and Africa. I'd go on archaeological digs in Israel. I'd travel the U.S. seeing the archaeological sites here as well. Get a personal trainer and chef so I can get motivated and succeed in losing weight. When I reach my goal weight/body go shopping without a care as to how much I can spend! Put money in a bank account for my daughter's education. Put money in a trust for her for when she turns 25. Give my siblings money. Invest.
