I had to buy my son a mobile phone so we could talk, so my situation isn't a good test case. And we also Skype when his mother allows him to when she isn't retaliating at me through him so I can see him between visits. As for the speaker thing, my son is usually private when he talks to his friends, so it's usually off and he is kind of like talking to his buddy about cartoons while they watch them at the same time. In general, he's not too much of a phone user, though.
You still have much to learn. For you see, to key isn't the flatulent outcome, but rather, timing it right when the individuals least expect it. The element of surprise is what it's called. If the sound of flatulence can't get even get a murmur on your end, then your compassion for comedy falls to a deep end. I suppose I would humor the dead with dead baby jokes and other "mature" material (aka snarkiness and dark humor) to bring out a chuckle or two.
Well, so I caved in to a crying middle school kid a bout a month ago and bought a 3 months subscription to Whittier News. Now I am inundated w phone calls from all sorts of LA area newspapers :smt012 No good deed goes unpunished. Meh.
Both my kids use to do the privacy thing with the phone when they would be allow to talk with friends, but within the last year both have taken to wanting to go to speaker phone, especially my son who does the cartoon or computer game thing. I get doing it for the computer games when their talking to each other, but the general talking not so much. Don't know if it's some weird thing they just do just for the hell of it to be kids. A pain in the ass when you're trying to watch something on TV or concentrating on paperwork or something and they decide come into a room doing that.
lmao. So glad I live in an area where I can always front like I'm not home. All you homeowners are fucked. If your car is in the driveway they know you're home to harass you lol
I went bowling. I want to say the following. I have not bowled since I was probably 16. which is a long time ago for a 20 something year old. lol:smt037 I refuse to say my age. I was as big and as strong as I am now so it took time to adjust. That being said my highest score was 108. I like to look at it from cup half full. I had a strike at least once in each game. Sometimes It was back to back.:smt042 on the half empty side. I had at least one gutter in every game. Sometimes it was back to back:smt013
The man at the bowling alley asked why I am bowling alone. I told him I'm new from florida. I should probably work on making friends:smt012
Hey, that's something I'm very familiar with. It's something I like enough that I can go alone. Now clubbing alone, THAT's awkward.
Prologue Though mortality is finite, the memories which we all share towards one another will not wither away. Staring deeply into the abyss, the melodic chants, as though they came deep from the starry waters, calls out to me once more. Tis not the time to end the story, for there's more to this story. Before my end, I still have a few more chapters to make and ultimately leave behind before I depart. Dying maybe another transition, but I can never leave so abruptly, especially since there's nothing once I shut down.
I don't think I have the writer's patience to pull that off. I would have to be extremely tired and on a loaded point.
I don't have any wishes. Wishes can never come true. You have to make it happen. Sort of funny, people keep asking me what I'm doing for Christmas and my reply was "Nothing." One lady looked at me funny and asked "Why?" And then it went from there: "Why not? It's just another holiday to me." "But it's tradition." "Yeah...for some. For others, it's just another day with an extra layer. Besides, I don't have anyone to celebrate it with. Had I have a family, then things would be different. But no...I'm just a person of solitude for now." She was surprised. A lot of people around here, seeing that it's a small community with a population of 8970, they all recognize me a bit, though I don't get out much. I guess everyone is pretty much hyping for the holidays like usual.
2 things....ok, I understand you don't celebrate it much because you don't have anyone special to celebrate it with by if you had your own family, would you? And secondly, should you at least have a tiny bit of Christmas spirit? I'm sending down your Christmas present--at least have some kind of positive thing! I'm not mad.....I'm just saying. I still love you to bits.
