Bad example. Neo was had to only contend with an earth based machine not one that had the knowledge of 10000 worlds. Also Neo had a support team and the Matrix had its attention focused on millions of other running human minds where as brainiac only had superman to focus on. But I do agree with your premise about the movie people need to take it for what it was a new spin on an old story.
How does having the knowledge of 10000 worlds make Brainiac invincible some how? That's like saying that someone with a genius level IQ that has read every book in the world on martial arts & hand to hand combat is now the most dangerous person in the world simply because they have all that fighting knowledge. Without training, conditioning and actual combat experience to go along with the knowledge it means nothing. What makes great fighters is the experience they gain & what they learn from it to add to the knowledge they already have allowing them to grow & become better. Brainiac doesn't grow or learn. He just collects vast amounts of knowledge and uses it when necessary. Logic, even machine logic is flawed in the same way as simple human logic. The fact that he believes collecting & gaining all of this knowledge makes him superior is in itself flawed logic.
Dude learning is the collection of knowledge and if you have vast knowledge you have so many ways to address a problem. That means knowing thousands of ways to kill a carbon based organism like superman but the story doesn't operate on logic it operates on no matter what superman wins.

Still didn't answer the question. There are plenty of people in real life walking around with vast pools of knowledge so how come problems don't get address like they should if that's the simple answer to everything? There are plenty of other villains capable of killing Superman who don't have the vast knowledge of Brainiac, so why is Brainiac so seemly unbeatable to you?
Both of you are ignoring basic logic on this one. An entity capable of interstellar travel and has not only acquired the knowledge of 10000 worlds but has successfully destroyed them along with all their inhabitants is being stopped by one single carbon based creature who has only been around for thirty something years. In order to defeat these other civilizations he would have to have the know how in order to do so. Its a super computer that doesn't require sleep nor rest, food nor water and has absolutely no emotional ties to exploit but yet Superman can beat him by himself every time? Come on guys.*Yawn*
Your statement is as poor as thinking that omniscience = omnipotence. It doesn't work that way. You may have the knowledge, but you lack the power to perform it. Take a basic philosophy class, then come back to me. Or better yet, observe the world around you for a more realistic example on this whole matter.

Here's the issue here: you're not using logic. If you even bothered watching Superman: Unbound instead of mouthing off like you normally do, then you'd see the bigger picture. A computer isn't capable of experiencing things, but has the knowledge of its surroundings. When Superman figured out that Brainiac NEVER leaves the ship, he exploited a fundamental flaw in this whole debacle: lack of experience. The failure to realize that knowledge continues to evolve as civilizations do.
In other words, Brianiac isn't much of a supercomputer. It destroys whatever knowledge it fails to comprehend or could never experience.
Now, should I use elementary English next time or is this appropriate for you to comprehend?
If you can't be respectful then don't engage in conversation with me kid. Its not worth the headache.
Any way Brainiac seems to be biomechanical meaning he does experience life and in other media he does in fact leave the ship. Take the justice league cartoon for example, he was on earth and had it not been for the other members of the league superman would have lost. There's a plethora of ways he could have killed Superman. A gravity gun to limit his speed and power and a kryptonite gun to finish the job. That's just one that comes to mind. Logically the AI should be beaten by one carbon based life form.
So a human can't beat a machine because it's too logical? Didn't some chess champ back in the 1990's beat the Deep Blue computer in a couple of matches as well as play it to a draw in a few as well?
Robert Downey Jr. has reached a two-picture deal with Marvel Studios to appear in The Avengers 2 and The Avengers 3 — but notably not for a possible Iron Man 4.The actor, who is currently shooting the legal/family drama The Judge in Massachusetts, says he hopes to launch an entirely different film franchise at some point in the near future, and also notes that at 48, his super-powered fighting days are obviously numbered.
They can always reboot/recast Ironman with a younger actor. I never understood why movie studios think that superhero movie fans are invested in the actors underneath the masks. For as much as I like RDJ, no actor in a superhero film is unreplaceable. I mean in the modern movie era, we've had three diffrent Supermen, two Spidermen, three Hulks, three Punishers, and four Batmen.

I don't think he or the studios are concerned that fans may have any problems with recasting the Tony Stark/Iron Man role. I think the line of thought was more directed to the fact that he's willing to do two more Avengers flicks but not another solo Iron Man movie. Because that was going to be the big question: Why can you do Avengers movies but not more Iron Man movies?
I was completely wrong about the Young Justice cartoon. I initially thought it would be some cookie-cutter animated program, but watching it so far has me interested. It's late in the game, but it's never too late to enjoy a quality made TV show.
They cancelled it. Still so pissed about it
I'm aware of that. It could have gone for two more seasons and then end it altogether. But now...it feels like a major cliffhanger.
Well, if Arrested Development can get a revival, so can this show.
