Kyle?? Is that you dude??? :smt043:smt043 Sorry, but this is exactly the kind of statement I'm always hearing at work from one of my office buddies. Too funny. Carry on.
Poor parenting. When I see shit like this, I want to take the parents to task and enrol them in some sort of class.
Kyle is an obvious person of intelligence. Seriously, I think of all my friends who are college-educated professionals in their late 20's, and not one is married or anticipating kids. I think of the morons I deal with, and most of them have 3+ children.
I didn't say all people with more than two children are morons, but I'm speaking from my experience, and the people I personally know in their 20's with a litter of kids tend not to be the most stable, most educated, or most intelligent people, and they're not making the best choices for their or their children's futures. YMMV.
People with higher education often either wait to have children or simply feel its a waste of time at a certain age, so no sense in bothering to have kids. Plus, you can't always count educated, intelligent people in keeping that sort of tradition alive should they have kids since they could possibly have children who stray from the herd.
I would not only date a woman who doesn't want to have kids, assuming that we are compatible, I would marry a woman that doesn't want to have kids. I'd rather concentrate on my relationship with my woman than mess everything up by having kids. This is just my opinion and I'm sure everyone that has kids are great parents with fulfilling lives and magical days.
Parenthood is not for everyone. As I have always said and will continue to say until the day I die. A single mother, I believe, in my humble opinion, should be dating a man who is either a parent himself, or a man who wants to be a father. The child, regardless of age, is and always will be first priority in this mother's life and the man is second to last. The mother and child have an unbreakable bond that must be acknowledged and respected. This situation is a package deal. I mean, if you've seen the Tyler Perry film Daddy's Girls, or Kramer Vs. Kramer or other films, it is evident. This is an issue that is important for both men and women. And a lot of soul searching is required.
I think we set a bar too high on expectations instead of constructing a webbed plan early on. When we weave a path of perfection, we never see the strands that can detour the outcomes.
That'd be a dream come true. Every single women I've dated wanted kids, also, since most all of my relationships are ir I get a lot of heat for not wanting to populate the planet with "pretty mixed babies". I personally don't think I'd make a good dad, my morals are quesgiknable when it comes to raising kids and I have a strained relationship with my own father.
I can totally sympathize. I didn't want a child either before my son was born and it is hard to be a good parent. I respect the hell out of you for giving the question so much thought and being so conscientious about it. I had a strained relationship with my father as well.
I completely understand. I've gotten the same thing from a few men that I've dated. Sure I'd love to pass on my green eyes, but making "pretty babies" isn't my end game. I have a lot of other things that I want to do in life and having kids is not even on the list. It's one of the reasons I've stopped considering men younger than me or really close to my age because they all seem to want to reproduce, even at my age! Sheesh, my uterus is pristine and staying that way lol
I'll be honest, I stopped looking a couple years ago. With the exception of my ex-husband, each man I'd seriously dated had wanted children. Saty: I'm definitely not looking to date while here, I don't have time, plus I don't plan to stay in the area after my contract is up. I'll be moving further west likely, may even head back to Canada.
Yep, let's say (hypothetically) that you've been in a "serious" relationship with four men, including the ex-husband, within the last ten years. That would mean three-fourths of the men that you've dated want children. Seventy five percent. The young bucks have muscles and a hard dick, but you might want to look at the older dudes with a Cialis prescription.
