IS ANYONE ELSE SICK OF ISRAEL?

I understand the sympathy for the Palestinians, but to imply there's only one bad actor in this whole scenario and the Palestinians are the perpetually displaced victims is wrong.

All the nations of the ME have expelled the Palestinians. They are a nomadic people without borders or a homeland.

Only when the state of Israel was formed did these nomads decide Gaza and the West Bank, a prior wasteland to put it nicely, was their territory and homeland.

Palestinians as a people didn't come into political existence until after the founding of Israel in 1948.

IMO the Palestinians are akin to the gypsies in Europe.

If the other ME nations had absorbed these people into their own populations decades ago instead of routinely expelling them as nomads there wouldn't be this problem today.

Also, much of the Old Testament is a valid historical record that can be corroborated by research in both anthropology and archeology.

The Jews' ancestral home is the ME.

If the Palestinians had ever acted in good faith with the Israelis, we would have a two-state solution already, if not both peoples living under the same state.

Simply put, the Palestinian leadership(PLO/Fatah/Hamas..ALL terrorist groups) has always been hostile towards Israel and at this point many Jews no longer care about making peace with them.


There has never been a Palestinian state and no one has more claim to the land on which the modern state of Israel exists other than the Jews.

Remember the goal of Hamas and previous Palestinian leadership isn't to coexist in a separate state alongside Israel.

They want to expel the Jews and/or destroy the Jewish state.

IMO the Palestinians should be put under UN control and forced to live under 'international' occupation and learn how to function like a peaceful state not hell bent on destroying Israel.

If Jordan and Egypt could get off that whole cut-Israel's-throat kick from the 1960s and '70s, the Palestinians need to find a new direction too.

The dam lies and bad deeds just in the 13 years starting with 911 would already be a long lists! The world needs to completely isolate their ass, a complete and total embargo just like they did to Gaza and Nuremberg everyone in their government! I have been to Israel myself and though I didn't personally see much I was treated like a terrorist in the airport on arrival even though I wearing a business suit with a big ass musical instrument case......REPLACE WHITE SUPREMACY WITH JUSTICE!

Israel has to stop the "Israel as a home for all Jews" approach to immigration. I support it as a home for Mizrahim or Sephardim who were oppressed under Muslim regimes throughout the region, but not Ashkenazi European Jews, who make up nearly half the population. They're European, regardless of their religion and I don't see why Palestinians should atone for the wrongs done to them during WWII by European "Christians". They should have been given some territory in Europe for this. This sliver of territory that is Israel is also too small for all Palestinians to have the right of return. The population pressures feed the settlement movement and the squalor of Gaza, in particular. Ideally, everyone would be incorporated into a non-religious state that protects all people equally, regardless of ethnicity. But since it appears that they cannot manage this, two viable states should be created.

I agree with orejon4, the best solution is one secular state that protects the rights of all ethnicities and religious faiths but that's probably a fantasy at this point.

Although there are resident Palestinians living as citizens of Israel.
I don't look at it as the Palestinians having to atone for the sins of WWII.

However the rejection of Jewish immigrants to the West Bank following the end of the war simply because they're Jewish is really the problem IMO.

We should have designated Hawaii as the Jewish state after WW2, but I'm sure many Polynesians would have called bullshit on that one.

Still I don't believe Pacific Islanders would have made it their singular goal to drive every single Jew living in Hawaii into the Pacific Ocean.

I don't think Palestinians should have to atone either, I just meant that rhetorically, meaning that a lot of the support for Israel internationally was about Europe addressing the injustice done during the Holocaust against Ashkenazi Jews. But taking land from Middle Easterners to address a fundamentally intra-European crime/issue doesn't seem fair. Mizrahim and Sephardim Jews have had periodic hardships throughout the Middle East for over a thousand years, depending on which regime was in power, and there was no support for reconstituting Israel until European Jews began theorizing about it in the late 19th century to escape from hardships and discrimination from European citizens. European nations only supported the creation to get rid of their own Jewish populations. Sort of like Lincoln when he thought about sending Africans back to Africa rather than fighting the Civil War.

If you are a member of a particular faith tradition, you then have a right IMO to claim the heritage and history associated with that legacy.

Claiming European Jews are a bastardized subset of 'real' Judaism is highly problematic.

But I do agree with orejon that encouraging a 'right to return' to Israel for all the world's Jews is contributing to the problems on the West Bank.

Israel simply is too small even with expanded settlements to have enough land to provide for their growing population.
