    Raudi is da man!

I saw this earlier, you beat me to it.

Scary as shit to think they have #SS AND paychecks, AND uploaded them.

And private emails with medical information of the workers requesting time off.

And salaries (showing all Sony's highest paid workers are white males - lowest is females. Wot else is new.)

But still... it's absolutely awful that American websites even allowed them to freely upload the info for the world to see.

They must had been taking revenge against that movie about North Korea starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.

Assuming sony even has black females on the payroll

But yeah this is the downside of the digital age

Things were a bit harder when you actually had to physically steal from any given location

Now everything is on the net including naked pictures, social security, the whole enchilada

    That's exactly what they did.
Sony are forging ahead though, undeterred.

    Why you sneaky fixer. :-?

Its quite horrifying what vindictive people are capable of. The laws are catching up though.
Though with these Hackers, it's a whole other scale to catch them. Cmon USA, beat Nth Korea's ass for this. What are they even good at? Ping pong?

    Did you just go there

    :p

Somebody did something tho and a bunch of screeners are up on the pirate sites

Interestingly enough, FRANCE just went through with blocking access to the popular Piratebay torrent site

    Talk about timing

No Sweet B, catch up - our rag the DM had the story today about how North Korea warned us (USA and SONY) not to paint them in a shit light aka the movie, or they would fuck us up. And they did. Well Sony. And Sylvester Stallone. You don't fuck with Rambo though. Or Rocky. Cue the music....

I love it when you say 'our' :smt049

And yeah well I guess the cyberwar is real

After the portrayal of the n Koreans in team America, you can't blame them for being like 'back the fuck off'

You mean like, "our city is fucked up!" :p

I know you weren't trying to be funny with the cyber-war is real line, but it's actually funny... it's come down to this, in 2014.. CYBERwars. Smh.

    Look on the bright side

Everyone's been trying to figure out a way to wage legitimate war without real casualties

It's North Korea. Movie or not, they've been doing this shit for hella long. Nothing new. Cyber attacks are becoming just as important as being on the battlefield.

    Agreed

Similar goals traditionally restricted to the physical environment can be achieved via digital warfare since everything is 'plugged in'

Why do you think you still have to learn how to read handheld maps and a metal compass, or fly using old instrumentation that date back to ww2

Technology should be a luxury not a crutch

    You are Both right.
Especially since they can attack our Nuke plants and water supply with the hacked push of a few buttons.

That's the scariest part of it all

You want accessibility when you need it but at the same time, you don't want to leave critical systems unprotected

Which is hard to do since the digital landscape is constantly evolving

Information security and IT in general are probably two of the most rapidly changing areas to be in

    Yeah...

"Another (child-porn downloader) involved a person working at the supersecret National Reconnaissance Office, which operates the military's spy satellites, who was transferred to a field office and was not prosecuted"

A Spy sattelite watcher. Not watching.
