Very, very sad. But, I predict we'll see more of this kind of thing. This isn't the 60's. Inner city folks are looking at the cops like they're just another gang. They no longer have the people's respect (through their own actions).

There are new easy answers. Things will get worse before they get better. Either way, it's sad any way you slice it.

Yeah I just noticed this too

Cops have been taking bullets in the line of duty since...forever....but as of late a lot of people are just getting fed up with rampant brutality left unchecked by the system

The police need to police themselves properly and hold bad cops accountable before people take these mofos seriously

    Kill a cop...u go to jail/die

Cop kills a civilian....gets suspended with pay and avoids trial

THIS was NOT in the line of duty. Their killer posted on social media that he was going to take two innocent NYPD Officers lives in revenge for Garner.

They were shot in their patrol car while on the job, no?

Only way I see this getting better is by having good cops admit to a criminal element which exists across the nations forces. By reassuring zero tolerance for corruption and calling out dishonorable cops, you're supporting the segment of the community that wants to love and respect cops and their duty

As it stands, I have yet to see widespread condemnation of the Cleveland police force from other departments, after the scathing doj probe

    How does that look?

I think Bliss already posted an article about what happens to a police officer if he or she snitches.

I get the anger with the cops but what did the g/f do.

I think he did the wrong thing in this case. He shot the wrong officers.
It would have saved us a trial if he had shot the right cop.

This does tarnish the fight against police brutality. These two cops might have been good officers that helped out the community instead of officers that kill the community.

It is always easy to say something when there isn't consequences. Do you see the NYPD firing the Cop?

Did she die? From reports Im reading, she was injured, not killed. It's a very fluid situation right now..

    Completely forgot about akai tbh

Dead cops are a tragedy but a lot of people won't care because their killers will be killed, beat up and thrown in jail for life when caught

The people just want the same for killer cops, which is why the protests will march on

    !!
