Correct me if l am wrong ( not sure), but Lawyers cant enter into evidence 'would have gotten him down..' only what was done. The doctor would also be cross examined in a trial (think OJ case and Trayvon)..so it might not be an open and shut case as it appears to be in the fluid form on the video. BTW, Have you seen the second video where he is left to lay there...that shows absolute negligence because Eric was still breathing then...its heartbreaking to see it.

They can point to the fact that he had been arrested successfully without having a chokehold applied that was against police policy. They can point to the fact the Doctor ruled it a homicide and described the cause of homicide as compression of neck (chokehold), compression of chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police.

They don't have to go by archangel's would have gotten him down.

    Lol @ your last line...
@ your first line...the successful arrest before the choke? Didnt see that on the vid. He was saying dont touch me.

*God, its so sad to watch such an avoidable escalation. He seemed like such an affable guy...

    Who knows

And if cops develop blue flu or do their own nationwide walkout, we need to do what Reagan did and fire every last one of those fraudulent oath breakers

Oh wait he was a republican tho...the democrats would never be able to pull that off in this climate

I've been pointing to firing their butts since day one until you pointed out to me that there wasn't an alternative.

Arch expressed my thoughts perfectly. The ME ruled it homicide via choke hold. And I don't think you can play that card, even if I had a pre-existing conditions you're actions were still the catalyst that caused harm. Kind of like if we had a car accident where I hit you and you broke your arm, having brittle bone syndrome shouldn't matter because you would have been fine if I never hit you.

If you look at is record, he has been arrested for the same incident. If you ask the officers who arrested him, I'm sure they would not mention having to use a choke hold which is against police policy.

Seriously it's not like they'd have a problem finding people to work

Nypd think they're special when in reality they're just as replaceable as any one of us

Pretty much especially when you can make 90k after 5 years as a beat cop

    Seriously cut the bullshit lol

They need to be reminded of a few harsh realities

People out here wanna work and can't get in because it's too congested

Got it. Just want to point out, however.. Mike Browns family had their own doc review the ME's autopsy...they contested the coroners findings. Even Cyril Weck did, remember? (even though he was basing his interpretation of the report thinking Wilson was six feet which rendered his theory moot).
Did you ever catch the cross exam of Trayvon's coroner and Nicole Simpson's? Brutal. ME's are routinely challenged in court. The defense here would challenge too, l would think.

Cmon Arch... arrested before? You cant use that as proof of success in this incident..a D lawyer would rip that apart.

None of these cases are remotely close. You not only have the ME but you have a tape. There is nothing damning than that other than being a witness and a juror. We will see how it goes with Holder.

Any prosecutor that loses in this slam dunk case needs to find another industry.

Fine stick to the ME ruling of homicide and the police department's policy on choke hold.

I read the ME's grand jury testimony and he seemed to actually confirm that there was no close range fight for the weapon via no powder burns and that he had his hands up at some point when shot. His ultimate conclusion was bs but it didn't align with his findings either. It seemed like they were just going along with the program, not trying to find the truth.
