That's another interesting thing about this case, the very same people who don't have an issue with things like this happening will qyickly tell you that er must cling to the letter of the law. until a cop breaks the law killing a black man then they trip over themselves finding a reason to let him off. Dude broke the law by using a choke hold and someone died because of it. It really is that simple. Why are they not up in arms over it?

I would rather have each high crime community have an augmented militia backed with the police of former military men and women. There are over a million black men who would step up to the plate to be employed as an augmented paid enforcer who would police their communities against the drug cartels within the community who want the police out so they can do business. It's always the tiny minority on any side that gets the news. There are bad cops and bad citizens. Bad cops make it bad for the majority who do good. Bad citizens make it bad for the majority when the businesses are burned down or refuse to do business in their communities. Two wrongs do not make a right. There is no moral equivalency with me. I have seen the effects of the riots of the past has done to my home town of Baltimore. Right SexyBaltimorean. Bad cops dishonor the brotherhood my uncle told me who is in the police force and must be rooted out. Not all black people are the same as the world sees us. Many of us just want to be respected and live out our lives without being fucked with by the police and our own. Unfortunately, the politicians and media think we are all stupid and can be easily manipulated to belief what they want us to believe. Enough said. R.I.P to Officer Ramos... He can rest knowing he raised a beautiful, respectful son. Rest knowing that he loved and provided for his adoring wife and family, and that he served his community well. He was due to graduate as a Chaplain 2 days before he was murdered. Thank you for doing his part to help keep the streets safer for New Yorkers and visiting tourists.

Absolutely senseless. 2 steps back. What was fast becoming a new awareness (and possibly understanding), a Departmental introspection along with policy changes, a conversation to return to community outreach policing...has now disolved and become a demand for greater protection and thus further divide between the police and civilians. An invisible 'stay away from us' blue-line of high alert is in effect, because we are now considered the potential enemy who want them dead.
