I rather have a messy divorce than a messy body to dispose of.

Divorce doesn't have to be messy...I can't for the life of me understand when killing someone became the answer to a problem...people rarely get away with the crime...so they either die as well or spend the rest of their life in prison...who won?

LOL - I had my guard up to avoid something similar when I was newly separated, lol.

 

you have to do that. people are truly dangerous in break ups....marriage or not. people lose their minds

 

Or revert to form and show you who they truly were all along.

 

This is not unusual. A lot of crimes like this were also committed by women as well as the men. Money, custody issues and violent retaliation(for spousal abuse) are the main motivations in these crimes. This has been going on for years. The difference is that women were not often suspected as capable of things like that. But, I often say in these cases, "Frailty, thy name is woman, but hell hath no fury."

In my view, everyone is capable of everything, so expect the unexpected.

 

i think people lose it cause they feel like they have been betrayed in some way and feel like they were nade a fool of

There are other reasons, of course. And even those who act on their vengeance have absolutely no idea as to what the results are.
