I think that whole #bringbackourgirls was to publicly shame Nigeria into fighting Boko Haram.

Nigeria has arguably the most powerful military on the continent, yet is reluctant to take on Boko Haram which is a tragedy.

The Nigerian government IMO knows where those girls are but the government doesn't give a damn because they weren't from prominent Nigerian families.

 

They do know. Nothing gets by them. They are a militarized country.
Some escaped girls said they were repeatedly raped, forced to convert and married off. That they were impregnated to create 'future ISIS/Boko Haram soldiers'.

Cause the world, due to the internet being bombarded with these atrociaties...We aren't programmed to mentally digest it. (The country went into a collective depression from 9/11.). People naturally shut out these new atrocious murders and cacoon themselves. But the slaughters never shut down, right?.
No doubt if Slavery existed with the internet, it would not have been tolerated as long as it was. Same with the Holocaust.
And the Armenian geonocide.

But look...the Christian geonocide in Somali/Sudan has...so scrap that. Or maybe they needed cell phones to record it that they didn't have 10 yrs ago.

Can't stand being lied to. We won't ever know. The liars are lied to...the President is lied to and he lies. They feed us half truths...let us think we are up on what's going on...meanwhile they all grease each other's palms. Apparently, this earth is so valuable to want to dominate it..these leaders are willing to destroy it and its habitants to get it. Does that even make sense?
