Beginning in 2016, the worst animal abusers will no longer be looking at a slap of the wrist as the FBI has reclassified animal abuse, making it a felony.

As far as the nation’s top crime fighting agency is concerned, animal abuse will be felonious just as arson, burglary, kidnapping and murder are.

I totally agree.

I don't understand what anyone gets out of abusing anything... animal or person.

The other day I was upset with someone for saying she didn't date black guys. I asked her why. She replied that she was assaulted at age 12 and raped at 18 by someone black. Then I was upset at myself for misjudging her.

The world is pretty fucked up and I support any measure that keeps innocent people and animals safe from cruelty.
