In my mother's day submissive meant cooking, cleaning, washing, pressing and always giving your hubby some even if he is pissing you off and hasnt had a shower and smells like a beer bar.

But if we discount Paul's writings, then we have to discount the other books of the Bible that do not contain the words of Jesus. And yes, a sheeple I am not. Lol. in the end of the day , a man will need a woman who is cooperating (submissive) . the man need to be worthy of that "position". women need not to be choosing knuckle heads and men need to choose women who are wise in helping him make good decisions and execute it.
