Russia fight against ISIS in Syria

Has anybody here been following the Rusian bombing of ISIS in Syria.
It seem that they are finally going to turn the tide on this ruthless group.

 

I don't think Russia is in Syria fighting ISIS, if that what you think then I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you

 

I do have a strong suspicion that Cold War II could be evident in a decade or so.

 

Defending Assad is not fighting ISIS, Assad is a collaborator with most of them.

I'm not sure what the right way to go about things is, but I doubt it's as simple as backing Assad.

We could do with enough intelligence for the west to go in there and actually strike the bad guys down for a change.


Russia doesn't do anything without having something they want from it, they aren't a country exactly dedicated to their Human rights are they?
so why would they give a shit about Syria?

Russia is following the path of China, going into unstable countries offering helping hands to dictators and grabbing a cushy deal while they're at it.

Russia is the only country there legally. Everyone else is breaking international law by being there. Syria asked Russia/iran to step in....it did not ask u.s,turkey, Israel, Saudi, jordan and Qatar to send terrorists and destroy the country over a legal sitting president. Isis are a bunch of payed terrorist mercenaries who just kill. Putin needs to put a beat down like he did in Chechnya.

The mainstream media propaganda machine has been on their toes trying to make Russia in syria look like everything its not.

You seriously think Putin is trying to solve the conflict?!?! Then You are mislead and need to read up on russia and Putin. But then again, this post is on par with any other post of yours regarding politics, besides the fact that your post above is contradictory as hell

Vietnam was because they were supporting the other half of Vietnam who would have gotten their butts beaten by the communist.
Afghanistan was because of the sept. 11 events.
Iraq is the only one I can give you. No business whatsoever.

Since you are alleging that major powers protect their interest ... is what interest do you believe the USA protects? Syria has no economical interest. The USA doesn't agree with both the syrian government and the rebels.


Russia seems to be protecting a customer.

 

The US didn't bomb them because Bin Laden was not there which is the same reason why we shouldn't have bombed Iraq. Let Afghan fall. We got our job done. The Russians couldn't win back then and we have no reason to stay.

Syria was also an enemy to Iraq which we invaded. The kurds are not people of one nation. They are spread out between nations. There is nothing to back.

The US stood by because no one in the US cares to do anything. We shouldn't even be there. It is not in our interest and we don't operate in the interest of others. You have contradict yourself by saying because of turkey's self interest. No, because US's self interest it cost money to defend. That's why there are no US soldiers in full force along with the chemical warfare that would kill so many American soldiers. Nothing to do with Turkey. You are right to say that county's act in their own self interest but to say they act in other country's self interest is contradictory and false.

 

Do you realize that's more serious than anything else mentioned in this thread??

 

1. Except for Bug, none of you knows what you're talking about.

2. Russia is not in Syria to neutralize ISIS but rather the anti-Assad Army of Conquest and other rebel groups, some of them CIA funded and trained.

3. The bombing campaign is a meaningless dog and pony show. If Russia really wants to rid Syria of its anti-Assad rebels it will have to wage a ground campaign too.

4. This thread belongs in the politics or news forum.

 

And the fact that Russia runs a large Navl military base from Syria and the fact that Putin didn't like that the horse he was backing was starting to lose when left to his own devices.

Plus so far Russia has not made any dents into ISIS yet, they will eradicate Assads challengers first then start on ISIS, not really what everyone wanted is it.

The west has no moral right to even speak. Should we pull up history of the west especially the UK and USA and the atrocities they have committed in times past? Leave them the fuck alone to deal with their shit themselves period. The UK and USA do business with some of the most repressive regimes in the world and look the other way. Nauseating hypocrisy

 

Okay, can ya'll chart and diagram for me whose side are we on? Or do the factions change too quickly for us to keep up? Maybe it's easier to simply play musical chairs. Let the music play.
