That's awesome. I love to see folks who don't let things like that shake their confidence. I always worried my son would be self-conscious about the scars on his face from being mauled by a dog when he was 8, but they don't faze him a bit. I wasn't saying that they should be smiling. My point was that the expressions should be natural & not forced or fake. She's a pretty woman, but when she was doing the ugly mouth thing, it took the prettiness away.
The last one of the two of them (guy and girl) face to face was pretty sexy. It's almost like there was real chemistry there... I wonder, have you ever taken pictures of a real couple who is in love?
I agree - he's a very pretty boy and he could do well for himself with just a little more energy in his expression - not to be as afraid. Maybe if he knows that you'll be taking like 500 pics and only a few will be great, but just to be himself. I wonder what he'd be like if you took a picture of him and bunch of his buddies (clowning, posing a bit, not sexual a la Abercrombie and Fitch Mad TV skit lol) He seems like a guy who has a lot of friends. Sometimes that "guy with girl" scenario may work better with a guy who is a bit of a loner (already in tune with himself). He's young and will learn.
Lol. I can see why...she has great legs. If you suggest that she avoid putting tension in her lips & mouth & just be natural, I think it'd make a world of difference.
I will try that... I'm going to do a nude shoot with her and balloons. It should be AWESOME. And I'm thinking about coming up with a concept of just her legs. She's fun to shoot........ ...a little young for my personal pleasure but GAWD if she ain't beautiful.
That sounds like a fun idea for a shoot. The leg idea is a good one, too...she could definitely pull it off. It's good that she "inspires" you like she does; it could make for some great pictures.
