I'm not sure that this is the case universally. I mean chatting online and developing a real relationship are two very different things (I know stunning grasp of the obvious). The warnings I have received were more just to guard myself from a player - I wasn't actually interested in the guy implicated but it was nice to get a heads up in case I needed it.

These message boards although they've likely budded one or two nice relationships are just for info exchange an apparently a place for some folks to unleash their madness. I take this place as pure conversation and that's it.

 

That would be accurate in some cases, though not all. Remember, Karma said that the same thing happened to him.... so, I wouldn't accept that as a blanket answer unless you believe he falls into that category.

Yeah, i'm learning to do that. I've had my fair share of complete debacles while on this forum, so it's definitely best that i just chill out and leave it as purely a method of communication exchange. I have to admit sometimes it's kinda hard though, because the women on the forum are all good looking. But no, i've learned my lesson.

This forum is more than just a communication. You can meet very nice women thru the forum/chat. You can meet her/him in video chatting, in person, etc.. and can decide if the person is comparable to you or not. I for one have done that also know/heard of others who has done it as well.
