Just wanted to write a quick note to let y'all know that Goodlove is in the hospital and would welcome your prayers and/or well wishes. He is receiving treatment for a rather aggressive condition. I'm sure it would cheer him to know that people are sending positive thoughts his way.

I just spoke to GL and he gave me permission to share a bit more. He has been diagnised with a condition similar to multiple sclerosis, in that the myelin sheath surrounding the nerves is wearing thin, and he is also experiencing muscle loss. (My dad has MS, so I understand a little of what he's enduring). He's thinking of everyone and thanks you for the well wishes.

Edit: He is receiving IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin), not steroids at this time.

Oh gee, is it reversable, curable? Hope it's less symptomatic than MS.
