GL asked me to let you know he's in the hospital again. He's experiencing an abnormal heart rhythm and is undergoing tests.

I just got a text from GL that really concerns me. I have very sporadic communication with him.... but yesterday he said a bacterial infection caused dehydration which resulted in the abnormal heart rhythm. He expected to be released today. Said he would call me last night to explain more. His text this morning said he's in ICU because a CT scan revealed that his lungs are bleeding. I Googled that and bleeding in the lungs can be caused by a bacterial infection - I'm assuming that may be what happened in his case. I hope this isn't as bad as it sounds.... tried to call but couldn't reach him.
