Hmm, that makes me wonder if Webbiejonmaster is playing a joke on us, if he hasn't told you how to do those things yet.
Na, if he was joking he would have made Malikom the new webmaster or some shit. Not really sure why we need a bunch of mods, but cool.
Oh I see how it is, You need to have submitted 100,000 posts to even be considered for the highly esteemed position of "moderator". And therefore I don't qualify. Well, I hereby announce my candidacy forum moderator. To show that I'm quite serious about running for this "office", over the next 3 weeks, I shall submit 99,700 posts which will bring me close to the aforementioned minimum number. I'll go to the homes of the forum's members and have them sign a petition supporting my candidacy. And finally, I shall be the "champion" of all games in this site's arcade. If you want change on this forum, I'm your candidate. I'm Newpowermoves and I'm running for moderator! _______________________________________________ Campaign Slogan "Change! Hey Webbie, just like Thickie said, how do we use these new moderator functions that you've given us? And no worries everybody. I think the Webbie just needs a few extra hands when it comes to moving threads and removing trolls.
Whoever wants to be a moderator can let it be known here or send me an email. Based on my experience with moderators in the past, some have a knack for it and some don't. Some people have time to do it and some don't. And personal situations change over time. So people will rotate in and out over time depending on these and other factors. On top of that I'm thinking of adding multiple levels of moderators. Mod1 - what we have now. Primarily dealing with trolls/spammers who have been registered less than 30 days. Mod2 - (2 to 4 people) Mod1 abilities plus the ability to do site maintenance (move threads), respond to reported posts, and give infractions. Super Moderator - (1 or 2 people) can do everything the webmaster/admin can do except change site configurations. * The complete list (permissions) of what each level can see and do will be posted and updated in the first post of this thread -- once they've become activated.
