I know we have a "What's Going On With You?" thread, but I thought we needed a place to just have random conversation outside the chatroom. This could end up being an epic fail, LOL, but since so many other threads get hijacked with personal/random chatter, I thought I'd give this a whirl. So...get to talking.
I think I may be addicted to buying China Collectables!!!! There is an old fashioned China/Furniture store in town, very pricey place....well the last few weeks they have had a half price sale on all china, since then I have bought 12 pieces 2 of them larger pieces that are absolute bargains, which brings me to the facts that I'm not so addicted to China as I'm addicted to getting a good price on them:smt045 does anyone else have this problem? I'm so bad that I actually bought 3 Next sequin tunics in a size that didn't fit me because they had gone down to 3 pounds and had originally been £70, convinced that for that price everyone in the family who was a size 12 would get one.
Today for the first time I went to the par with my friend and we started walking quickly - no running... i wouldn't survive, lol It was fun!!! i wanna go do it again!
LOL @ Britty! I so laughed out loud when I saw this. :smt036 Francie - I do think china is so pretty. I didn't do the whole "pick-your-pattern" thing when I got married. But a good friend of mine, who's mother-in-law passed a few months after I got married, gave me one of her MIL's sets of china. It's so beautiful...and it's a full set for FREE! I have yet to use it, b/c I have no where to really store it living in an apartment. Once we get a house, I'd love to buy a china cabinet so I can display it...we'll see.
I slowly walked behind this old hungarian lady and yanked the walker from her and run, she screamed so loud she even woke the dead. Funny thing is she kept walking home with out the walker. That serves her well for sabotaging my hook up with her grand daughter.
lol...it's not that i want to, it's because that's all we're allowed...!!! there has been a drought over here for years, so we're on water restrictions, which means 4 minute showers...washing cars with a bucket of water...watering plants every second day (and not the lawn) and no hose play at all
oh, i gotcha. yeah, they do weird little restrictions here sometimes too if we haven't had rain in forever. on a side note...I made some absolutely amazing banana nut bread tonight. i've been feeling so domestic lately, lol.
go post the recipe in the domestic thread poppet i've been talking with a friend about writing our own recipe book. she'd do the meat stuff & i'll do the vegie.
Makes sense - Thats how many hookers you have over! I know how many, since 6 dollars was missing from your wallet.
