So what the heck does one do, in the middle of the week, while in San Antonio on business? My work is DONE, and I don't have to visit my facility until morning...and I'm quite certain there HAS to be something good within walking distance of my hotel (staying near the Riverwalk). So come on all you Texans...tell me where the good spots are near here!

And by the way, all you Texas good ole boys....

I haven't spent a lot of time in Texas as an adult, much less single, but I seriously CANNOT TELL if I'm being hit on by y'all, or if you really ARE THAT NICE!

Go down to Dicks Last Resort on teh Riverwalk and get insulted while paying for it
Plenty to do in SA.. The River Walk offers a lot of touristy stuff but the locals dont hang out there. I used to go there a lot when I live din Houston but I fail to recall names of places... The Hotel should be able to help you as SA is pretty small. Awesome place btw.

 

lol...she posted that 2 years ago...we are digging in the archives again...there is something going on in austin right now which isn't too far from san antonio...big music festival...arts & entertainment...all happening by the domain...it goes on for several weeks in a row...i am headed there in a couple of weeks

i just looked online and the music fest is over 3/21...it runs for 10 days 3/12-3/21...a few of my coworkers were there for the first weekend but i was stuck in dallas for a week...i am booking flights right now for the end of the month...10 day hop around the midwest...wish i was going to the east coast...
