Nope, not an issue at all really to me. But I'm really young so a lot of people my age still live with their parents. As long as your parents are nice I don't see what the problem would be
Don't condemn yourself before it even happens. Just live your life and you'll find someone. You're a good-looking guy. Don't fret! That imaginary guy may be all flash and no substance.
True true but i know friends who are getting married and stuff its kinda frustrating :-?. But if there is one thing I'm good at its moving forward! 6 years and a another degree later this will all be a memory
I hear you Grec. I have undergrad debt., grad debt and I want to go to law school in 2 years. By the time I finish, I will be 32 years old with approximately $170,000 in education debt alone and hoping that I graduate within the top 10% of my class so that I can get a high-paying job to pay for it all. Forget living the high life. I think I'll be able to buy my first house once I'm 65.
I plan to go back in January to finish my degree in Criminal Justice. I'm getting the student loan stuff taken care of
That hole hasn't been dug yet. Now I only owe about $18,000 in undergrad/grad loans since I went to a state school and only took out small loans to cover the difference between grants and full tuition. Now when I go to law school, even if its a lower ranked school, I'm looking at $50,000 a year ($20,000/yr if I get accepted into one of my state's public law schools) not including housing and other living expenses. I'm aware of all this since every lawyer I talk too complains about their school debt. They make money but they also have this crushing debt to pay off. I figure that in the long run, it will pay off for me... or I can end up jobless with a six-figure burden to carry. Hey, if all works out, I may end up the black Ari Gold:-D
Good luck, man. That's a cool major. I took a Criminal Justice class years ago and loved it. I dug my teacher, a pot-head seminary drop-out from Missouri turned hippie living in Hoboken, NJ. He was famous for coining the term "copaganda". He was a character.
I have a B.B.A. Next year, I'm going back to school to do a joint M.B.A./J.D. program. If everything works out, I'll finish both degrees in four years instead of the five that in would take to do them separately.
Well i have 7 Gcses taken at higher tier level its actually easier to get a better grade on them than foundation tiers, as you would have to get all questions right on a foundation tier just to get yourself a C. lol English B, English Lit C, Maths C , Psychology C, Sociology C, Science D, Geography D. Not that impressive Got an A level in Psychology this may, This Sep i started AS level Math and Level one German, the maths is a push for me, was thinking off getting a tutor though, to ease my pain definitely harder than Psychology lol  Oh and i also have an NVQ Level 2 in customer services
"Copaganda" lol. I never heard that one before . I'm guessing your teacher was kinda like the Larry character on Dharma and Greg. That dude was always talking about "the man" and "Gestapo goverment" lol
Im finishing up a bachelor of science now in interaction design (DH, we are in the same business, i've read game design and stuff) and studying pedagogics for fictional writing (so I can teach in creative writing, if that wasn't clear, in uni and other higher level education), already spent two yrs in a creative writing class. Hopefully I'm getting a master of digital design futures in brisbane next year, but dont know yet. Studied fine arts before that.
To me, it would a bit, because that'd mean I'd have to keep my appartment clean constantly so we could spend time there, and I'm crap crap crap at keeping it looking ok in here... But really, no, if there was a good explanation to why, I couldnt care less. What could kill the potential is the lack of time. Full time job and studying AND dating? I did that last semester and it didn't work at all. I have the worst schedule even now, four nights a week goes to dancing, rest of time dancing and meeting friends, to squeeze in a date in there is pretty hard. So if the guy I'm seeing has a busy schedule as well, it's gonna be tough.
Greco, you're living at home for very valid reasons and accomplishing things in your life. Nothing wrong with that at all! Don't even worry about it, and the women that mind it are not looking at the big picture so don't waste your time.
Tonivegas82, you're a paralegal, right? I'm graduating with a paralegal certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson U. in January. I'm also starting a bachelor's in Legal Studies program in January. I have to take 2 computer courses at BCC, oh the horror... all I heard about that C++...
Thats pretty bad. wow. if D=50......C=60....and B=70... your average would be around 58 somehing........:smt107
