If your major isn't worth $500 then why we talking about it?

How many times you gonna ask the same question. Tried ginko yet?

You're pretending as if 500 dollars means the same to everyone but realistically the number is closer to 4k a year.

Doesn't matter what it "means" to an individual, it's called a market.

So we're going to ignore the ability to pay. Ok

Or just abolish all markets and create a free no work no pay fantasy world where money doesn't exist. Yeah let's do that since humanity hand it wrong all this time until you came along.

No one said that I'm just talking about free training which we already do at the state level until 12th grade why not extend it 4 years? Harvard and Stanford and MIT and Yale will still exist as a private alternatives. All that's being presented is that college be free at the state level like it use to be.
All that's being proposed is an investment in the health of the citizens who produce and consume to keep this country going. Literally all other industrialized countries do it except us. Are we saying Canada Japan The UK Germany Sweden etc have it wrong but we some how are the only ones who have it right while paying twice as much for worst outcomes?
Just because something doesn't have a pay per use attached to it doesn't mean it's free it just means the costs are pooled and regulated so people don't price gauge us.

It was only tuition free here, Europe is quite different.

At the bolded, I've answered this a few times already, you not agreeing is fine but the issue is you don't even remember my answer. That's only an issue for you because if you can't remember anything you won't develop the logical apparatus of your mind. Again your issue not mine.

Fact is if you lived in Europe you wouldn't have your accounting degree, play dumb and forgetful all you want, again your issue not mine.

If Bernie or Warren actually wins you're welcome to try it, not my issue, as I have already explained that the reasoning for my position isn't self-interest. It's basically not my problem. If you win go for it bro.

You make it a point to keep playing this game of merry go round where you believe this strict libertarian approach is the best thing ignoring obvious and current pitfalls.
This winner takes all approach to allocation of public goods and services is completely unsustainable not to mention unnecessarily cruel. If you choose to ignore it so be it.
Hopefully we don't keep relying on your support of failed neoliberal policies and implementation. Markets will decide right?

You don't even acknowledge facts as it pertains to your own reality.

I mentioned a fact about your own education and how living in Europe would have impacted it and you chose to ignore that because you don't believe in problem solving and systems.

You only believe in values and emotional gratification, to you that's enough to make the world function.

You apparently don't even believe that there is an analytical component to social science.

Trumpies of the far-left. Thanks for making @Beasty's point for him

What point is that? That we should privatize everything?

I love how you lurch to the most extreme conclusion. America is run from the middle, sorry.

    Thesis + Antithesis = Synthesis

Has it always and is that the best way to do it? It seems like your argument as well as Beasty's is its been this way and nothing can or should change it. Its always been this way so it's the best way to do things.
We can all agree the outcomes of how things are bleak. We have an over inflated stock market another housing bubble a student loan bubble over inflated rents over inflated healthcare costs record high homelessness massive under employment I could go on. Apparently running from the middle isn't helping. The centrist approach will leave us with a Biden or God forbid a mayor Pete. They will lose to Trump they do not have the support to galvanize people to vote and lets say they win everything collapses anyway you just feel a tad better about it because it's done with less racist rhetoric but you're still homeless and jobless

"Running from the middle" helped Democrats flip seats in 2018, while Justice Dems and Berners flipped zero seats. ZERO.

You can cry all day about centrism but all the far-left has done for the past 20 years is help hand the keys to the GOP.

In light of these FACTS, you will never see the results you want. NEVER.

Hold which seats did centrist democrats flip from red to blue?

Btw justice democrats gave you AOC who beat a long term centrist democratic incumbent. They also gave you Ilhan Omar Rashida Talib and Ayanna Pressley. For a brand new barely 5 year movement that's a lot

    You're making his point.....lol

Only seats your far left people got were already blue. They did not flip seats from red to blue. They never do lol.

The Dems didn't flip Congress in 2018 by becoming centrist. Most of them ran on a version of AOC's New Green Deal
    Education reform. Health care reform.

AMericans want real dramatic change, not incrementalism.

In a weird way, that's what many Americans thought they were getting in Trump. A billionaire who theoretically couldn't be bought and would turn D.C. upside down.
