Respect where it's due: BM/WW IR in History

Seriously though, that's exactly what 'enthralled' looks like. LOL

 

Heavyweight boxing champion Joe Louis once proclaimed that he would never associate with White women as his predecessor Jack Johnson had done. Yet, he had secret relationships with actress Lana Turner, Norwegian figure skater Sonja Henie, and Mae West.

 

I learned so much history from this and appreciate those who chose to leave behind love and positivity in the world. It's crazy how many have passed on, since the beginning of this discussion. Pop culture continues to be a most useful tool to help bring awareness to social issues and breakdown negative views. I'm glad to know that some folks are still making history and adding wins to this list everyday.
