She's executive producing. Keeping up with the trend of non-black Female Actresses that are Producing & Starring in roles where they cast a Black Male as their Love Interest. Elzabeth Olsen Kristen Bell Jennifer Connelly Vanessa Hudgens Kaley Cuoco Florence Pugh Roselyn Sanchez Anna Paquin Katie Holmes Reese Witherspoon Natalie Portman Sydney Sweeney I know there's more I'm just drawing blanks right now. lol. But I LIKE this trend!
Kristen Bell and Elizabeth Olsen in particular seem to really have a push towards it. In Olsen's latest film "The Assessment" there are no white men, ZERO, all of the men including ones she is with or has sexual history with are Black or Brown men, even the other couples shown the husband is always Black. Was not expecting that.
