The Long Walk is based on Stephen King's 1979 dystopian novel.
Plot: In a totalitarian America, teenage boys compete in a mandatory walking competition.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this show. Unfortunately, a lot of the new Star Trek has been hot garbage, so I hope this bucks that trend.

The usual suspects are freaking out about the "wokeness" of the new Starfleet Academy show. I'm not a fan of the direction Star Trek is going, but some of the comments I've read are insane. I had no idea so many right-winged nut jobs were Star Trek fans.

They're not fans of Star Trek in any ways that matter. They are literal fans of the classic 60's era of Star Trek. Limited fantasy diversity on multiple levels is okay but in real life it's the worst thing possible.

A new look at Jacob Elordi as Frankenstein's Monster in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein (2025).

The New extended ending to the animated Predator movies Killer Of Killers, shows the protagonists of Predator 1 and Predator 2, Schwarzenegger's Dutch and Danny Glover's Harrigan. Which seems to indicate there might be some kind of team-up movie in the works.

Makes sense, especially after the Predators movie kind of set that up initially. If the two surviving characters from that movie are still alive and have been captured as well, I can see them finally fleshing out the Predators world & culture on the big screen. The big question now is will it be live action or animated, since both Schwarzenegger' and Glover are up there in age now. Unless they are doing some recasting with younger actors for their roles, it may be animated.
