They know that only a whim separates them from suffering real consequences, and despite their wealth, they don’t relish the idea of big fees and regulatory difficulties on the horizon. I agree with your assessment of their kraven nature - they will do any self-serving act that has utility.

Watched them shits (both movies) way back when they originally came out but never really revisited either one not even when they are replayed on cable. Vaguely recalled that Dementia Don was even in the second one. Different times, different world.
