Well its the start of my name, and yeah you've guessed it the year i was born, simply is as simple does lol
Nothing creative about it. K iN CAlifornia I used to have a different user name before this one. It was one that indicated that I was single and looking. I decided I didn't want something that defined my status in that way. While I may be single now, I don't plan to always be single or looking.
I wanted something that denoted the type of person I am. And I do believe "bookworm" was already used, so I put the month and day of my birthday onto it.
Equinox is a song on my favorite John Coltrane album 'A Love Supreme'. I then researched and saw that he chose the name because Equinox occurs twice a year ( March 23rd and September 23rd ). Equinox is when the sun is directly over the equator. Spetember 23rd is significant to John because it is his birthday ( in 1926, I believe ). I happen to share the same birthday as the legend of jazz...different year, of course. Haha
The equinox have always been significant times for me. I had a llama I named Equinox (called her EQ)...I named her that because of her birth date. The solistice (hm is the plural solstices?) don't seem to hold as much importance to me.
My niece always calls me a girlie girl, which is appropriate. I love shoes, purses, clothes, makeup, manicured hands and pedicured feet...basically, all the typical girlie girl stuff. The '74' is my year of birth.
Metallica has a song called "Disposable Heroes" on their Master of Puppets album. It was my favorite song on my favorite album back in the day when I was a metal head, so I decided to use a feminine version of the title as a username on the internet. Thus "Disposable Heroine". Most of my user names come from songs, and most of the songs are either by Metallica or Marilyn Manson. Or A Perfect Circle.
Athena is my dog's name. Easy to remember. Plus I like thinking about the Goddess of wisdom, war and the crafts (depending on your source). The Goddess is well rounded as I strive to be (still practicing that, lol).
Lots of things in my life have happened serendipitously, hence Serendipity .... not to be confused with the movie of the same name or restaurant in NYC
My nickname and my quite soon-to-be age because my nickname was already taken for some reason. Nothing really special or significant.
I chose SonnyShao Because Sonny is a nickname that I have with my friends, and Shao is short for Shaolin. I'm a Kung-Fu buff. Put them together. Sonnyshao. The whole thing sounds kinds Chinese, thus adding to the kung-fu appeal.
Kuntrygirl because I am from the south and 30 is my age. I do know how to spell! I just thought I'd be different.
Well it's from one of my favorite songs...Foo Fighters Learn to Fly...and 08 is the year I graduated college...I figure it's about growing up and doing things on my own.
