That's what I am talking about. Before this thing was put into law, there was a case where a child needed an organ transplant. The insurance company denied it. It was not until the public caught on and got mad that they approved it but by then the child had died. The state of the health care system before the bill made me ashame. This new law only makes me less ashame of it.
LOL Thank you Andrae. Now if I could recall how the bill was addressing the often insane fees that heathcare providers bill. Such as MRIs etc.
A person had to be in fantasyland to think a President no matter what party would be independent of big money interests. Besides, other countries like Germany and China are cleaning our clocks because their employment number are up the roof.
Germany is very interesting but china not so much. The average person makes less than 20000 dollars in china.
Obama can't get things done because he is a "Macro" leader. He is trying to change to many large scale things at one time to try and make this huge impact. Obama's predicament is akin to someone starting to work out again after an extended period of time off, they go to the weight room and try and lift the same weights they left off with. You can't do that, you have to ease back into right. At the same time you don't want drag your feet or disregard issues that a vast amount of people care about. But because we have some many issues right now, Obama from day one has and continues to ask the American people to stand up, take responsibility, get work done, be honest and don't swindle people. But all Obama has gotten in for the most part, are people still sitting on the sidelines looking into the game, waiting for their team to start winning before the jump back in. If Obama didn't have so much to take care of-making him a "macro" leader, he definitely wouldn't be pegged as a socialist--which I personally don't agree with, even if his large scale programs & initiatives aren't the best for whatever reason, it's a starting point, and once these things are somewhat squared away, We can look toward the "micro". While some many stand outside looking in--not trying be great and help our society as if it could die tomorrow, ironically we talk about the gov and the corporations as if they were run by some evil aliens. The gov and corporations are us, we the people make them up, it shouldn't be a matter of the red or blue pill. we are them, and they are us, and we need to clean things up.
FRESH, I like the way you think. Clear critical thinking is so lacking in this time in which everything in response to an issue whether you agree with it or not is is an insult which demonstrates from the the responder a lack of intellectual insight and thought. Please keep it going and hopefully be the seed to change.
I repsect that. I find that not only in business, but in life, issues are most often masked accidentally and on purpose, with most people you have to dig to get the answers. We aren't bold, up front and honest like our fathers used to be. I hope I see things clear, it's in a sense what I'm paid to do. See through all the bs, and give a critical analysis on how a company/business/ or person can improve their business/how they do business.
:toimonster: That Wall Street puppet ain't trying to change shit. The presidency is merely A CEREMONIAL POSITION...they have NO real power.
Spoken like someone who doesn't vote. 'Leader of the free world' ain't hype, son. The POTUS has as much 'power' as he's willing to exercise.
