What the title says..... Ladies do you find a "white" voice on a black guy unattractive? By sounding white I dont necessarily mean just being articulate and not using slang, as you can still sound "black", but also articulate(think black newscaster). Its more of an accent thing, if you heard me on the phone you would probably think I was white without much thought.
Huh??? It sounds like it's something you may be self-conscious about. If so, let it go. As long as someone is being who they really are & not trying to put on a front to be seen as someone they're not; it's not really an issue. You gotta be you, man; that's what really appeals to women.
an accent thing? I remember when I met a white Haitian guy. I swear to this day If I didn't look at him I wouldn't have known he was white. Everything was just like a black haitian except he was white. accent voice etc. I think you may be referring to the pitch of your voice. That's generally in English speakers you can tell. I think women have a "as long as his voice is deeper than mines" view. just like a lot of men have a "as long as it is higher pitch than mines" voice.
Of course it's a turn off. If a man doesn't speak like he has no grasp of the English language I can't get wet. *rme*
