So, show me the results of rehabilitation from violent criminals in prison.

It's something like 90% of violent offenders that go back to prison because they repeat.

Dude, if you are forced to suffer unspeakably forever for the murder, rape, abuse or another human being or animal, it's sure going to deter anyone else from ever doing it.

I stand by my original post. I don't even care if you guys agree. I really don't. It's not like what I say is going to change anything in this world. I'm just more disgusted at what we as a country allow to go on in the name of fucking sports....'oh, it's okay, because he can win us the championship'... who.fucking.cares?

 

DB-I sense hate towards athletes, lol. What have they ever done to you? At least these guys bust their ass, provide entertainment, some even are role models for lots of kids, inspire inner city kids or kids who come from nothing to do better, pay taxes, and put the name of their city on the map. Unlike your royal family, these guys do something valuable. What the fuck have the royal family done lately? Beside being born into the right family, sucking the blood out of society like a leech and living a privileged life with out doing squat. The reason most violent offenders go back to jail is more circumstantial than its this inate desire to hurt people. A lot of people who are convicted are poor people and are kept in a cycle of crime for life. They don't have the money to fight a case even if they are innocent. You know how many convicted criminals make deals to avoid longer time even though they didn't do it. Look it up kid.

Btw prison is torture for most and it doesn't deter a thing. I get where your post is coming from I really do but you're coming a little erratic babe.

Do you really believe in this polarized racial environment that we live in that he could have been elected President saying that he was bi racial man or a man that was half white and half black?

 

Might be a strange analogy, but we more easily accept gay than we except bi-sexual in men as well. (I know, I know, a lot of guys think biwomen are hot).

We seem to have a lot of trouble in this country when we don't have a label that "fits"...a lot of folks, hearing a man is bi, also say "No, he's just pretending not to be gay." And a lot of folks, hearing bi racial say "No, he's just pretending not to be black."

Shades of grey confuse people. We like neat little boxes, and not everyone fits nicely, so we pretend they do.

 

I never bought bi sexuality for one reason many of these people wouldn't commit to someone of the same sex. Especially bi-men and from all the women I've known to be that way would have girlfriends in college or grad school but once it came time to "grow up" they went man hunting. I could be off but that's been my observation. Bi-men generally don't go back and forth from having boyfriends and girlfriends.

 

What you identify with often means more than what you are. He says he's a progressive democrat but he's really a right leaning democrat if you can even call him that but democrats will still vote for him

I agree. I am a sports nut, but Vick crossed the line. I believe he NOW regrets what he did, but he doesn't deserve another dog, even though he lamented in an interview that he wants one.

Most prisoners become worse criminals IN PRISON, so where is the rehab? Have people looked inside a prison lately?
In fact last night at the Madrid/Union Soccer game, I was talking to a security Supervisor who was a retired Camden prison C/O - 25 yrs on the job and a first respondent task force officer for unruly inmates (or words to that effect, his title was long when he said it, lol)...anyway he loved his job but told me there are true bad asses to-the-core who end up in jail.
