I tried to discuss this very same point in a thread created by a WM that was put in the quarantine section. Based on what I had posted in that thread, a WW is not just with a BM for sex. The science that I had posted disproves the myths that some people in the mainstream media perpetuate.
I think generalizations on this subject are impossible. Some ww who are attracted to bm have cultural norms more in tune with African-American/conservative/Southern/agrarian values, while some have the social norms of the Northern university-educated liberal community (ranging from experimental/kinky to post-feminists, who are decidedly NOT kinky). Within both groups there are both types, to say nothing of the other varieties.

I think a possible explanation for this is that women who are already open minded about racial preferences in sex are also likely to be more open minded and excited by sex in general. Like, I think if you did a study to find out if women who own vibrators are more interested in and eager for sex, you'd find that yes, they are. But that doesn't mean the vibrator made them hornier, it meant they were already horny girls in the first place, and they are therefore more likely to seek out toys. Similarly, if you're already interested in sex enough to begin searching around for the different types of men the world has to offer -- and not simply accepting the obvious choice put on your plate when you were born -- then you're also likely to be a more sexually eager and curious person in other ways.
