2 cups coffee...off to gym....cardio warm up on the treadmill surrounded by chocolate (eye) candy.....mmmm, what a great way to start the day.....love Saturday mornings....!
Waking with my pole as hard as Chinese Arithmetic after a perfect night of rest. Rolling over to taste and insert the pole in that piece of white candy with the pink filling. Pleasure is fulfilled!
to be able to wake up and walk at home how i want and do what i want and not just rush to make breakfast for everyone
A double shot cortadito, 2 slices of toasted cinnamon raisin bread or a bowl of my favorite cereal, a cup of yogurt a banana and an orange. Wash it down with a short glass of OJ and I'm set for whatever the day throws at me.
This morning, I made myself a cup of tea, fresh squeezed orange/grapefruit juice w 4 Swedish full corn crisp bread w turkey sammich meat - took it w me to bed and ate brekkie in bed!!! WOOOHOOOO - I have not done this in years and years - It was lovely!!!!!!
How I start my day: I get up I enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate and toast I watch about 10 minutes worth of the weather channel. I get dressed, brush teeth, etc. I review my "things to do" list before I head out the door. That's how I start my day! Oh, and might I add...I like to litsen to hyped music in the morning--that's how I wake up faster. :smt020
my feet hit the floor running in the morning: let the dog out get her food and fresh water turn the music on make some tea empty the dishwasher make some breakfast start a load of laundry head to my office to start working still in my pajamas
I like the way most of you start your days! Mine are 90% the same thing: get up early, yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast, get ready for work, hustle to work. Rinse Repeat. My ideal way to start the day: wake up and harass the man for lovin, go for a run outside or swim in the ocean, shower, brekkie with said man, and then do whatever the day requires.
my perfect way to start my day.... wake up without an alarm then being able to drink my coffee quietly, without interruption, reading emails having a shower on my own going to the bathroom on my own getting dressed with the radio on in the background, singing happily to myself children all the meantime, getting themselves dressed and fed & washed without a squabble or fight leaving the house without a raised brow or voice the way my day normally starts.... cat headbutts me at 5.00am to go outside remove either arm or foot of child from my face let cat outside, after tripping over said cat and stubbing toe dog then decides it's wake up time and starts to play let the dog outside, this time faaar too awake and knowing i'll not be able to sleep again make myself a hot water and lemon juice and take it back to bed read emails off phone with another body part from a child thrown over me, radio on quietly so i can hear the weather get up at 6.30am unload dishwasher put lunches together feed animals sign all forms to take back to school cuddle woken children listen to children make up illnesses for the day to avoid school cook them their pancakes, egg & bacon tell them to eat and stop teasing tell them to get dressed yell at them to leave me in peace as i go to the toilet yell at them to leave me in peace as i shower yell at them to stop arguing and to get dressed bang my head on kitchen counter when i go to repeat myself again get dressed tell children that i'm not interested in who started what run out the door with the announcement of "if you haven't packed it, worn it or remembered it, it's too late" walk to school... i prefer morning 1
:smt043:smt043:smt043 This is hysterical! I know I shouldn't laugh because it's oh, so common, especially in a single parent household. It seems so crazy now, but you will look back on these mornings as some of the best memories with your kids. The silence when they're grown and gone is worse than the chaos.
