I agree with you on the frustration. So far though, from what l read, the stories are matching....iln fact, he rookie brooklyn cop knew he was toast because he had discharged his weapon, but didnt know he had hit Akai. He kind of reminds me of the scene in Pulp Fiction where the young guy comes out the bathroom with his eyes closed shooting wildly at Vincent and Jules. I thought Long Island was. I don't know which borough is the most, tbh.
Opps. Haha ok island... got it My bad, mister NY. Bet ya can't spell our S________l River though, huh.
Funny enough Staten Island is a borough. I wonder who came up with that shit lol. Any why should I know about a little river in PA. NY is the center of the universe duh lol
Real talk though I really hope some of the white women on here have serious talks with your loved ones about what's going on because it seems like tension is rising for some bs to pop off. None of us want massive deaths in the streets over this shit.
Exactly what I typed. In short we need our white allies to stand with us and help keep the peace. Tensions are crazy right now and one things for sure this is going to be a defining moment for us as a country. Hopefully the lip service of togetherness will actually amount to something.
Eyewitness: "People were CLAPPING AND LAUGHING' at the scene where two cops were killed" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2882125/Police-2-NYC-cops-shot-car-critically-injured.html They were murdered in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant section.
Well SHIT, SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN MORE ATTENTION THAN A NIGGA SHOT DEAD AND LEFT IN THE STREET FOR A FEW HOURS....
I seen videos of people clapping and not helping a cop who was getting handled by a thug I've also seen videos of pro cop supporters ridiculing the loss of black life at the hands of cops
Your comment specifically said for the white women to have serious talks to OUR LOVED ONES. As if they need to be spoken to. Did you speak to yours? Where was your post/call to peace to the men here when Ferguson was burning?
Bull. It was breaking news on CNN. The few hours was because the crime scene was surrounded by a growing angry crowd. Riots, burning buildings, rallies, marches for 3 months...and that isn't attention to you? The murderer tonight...some news outlets still wont even identify him.
Bliss I didn't need to speak to my loved ones because those burning shit in Ferguson were the fringe they were a small minority and to be honest there was no one to talk to about it. In contrast a lot of tension being felt is because 1. The narrative for a lot of white folks in this country is that black people don't exist other than to confirm their fears about black people if they are visible at all. 2. From the end of slavery to the civil rights movement progress has always been achieved because of our white allies there's no denying that. The narrative has to change and its not going to be because of what we do or say its going to have more to do with our allies and speaking up around friends and family. People who can correct others when they try to dismiss all these protests as simple complaining.
And? Wth does that have to do with the murders tonight? Seriously, you haven't stopped attempting to deflect and switch the narrative since your first heartless post in this thread.
I think his point is it apparently goes both ways but the major difference is accountability. Is anyone really surprised? How many lives have to be claimed without consequence before there was a reaction of some sorts. It's horrible but not surprising.
