    1. Actually a flat tax wouldn't give people more money. Remember Cain's 9-9-9 plain? That's pretty much a flat tax across the board and it actually would have made things more expensive for low income people who are tax exempt from having to pay for anything.

In other words, for that to work, the economy would have to have consistent improvement in a much more miracle-like fashion compared to the slow growth we have now.

    2. On the contrary, it's the House that really hasn't offered up anything feasible that both parties could agree upon and nothing in that proposal would really help who need it. Any GOP proposal would only benefit the wealthy by a long shot, but somehow your conservative goggles never seem to be taken off and look at the bigger picture.

    3. This is where your partisan bullshit deludes you. And the fact that you blatantly didn't read the links I've provided only tells me further selective thinking. Since your conservative mind is too lazy to click on them, here's a snippet...

Notice how half-true that is? Or did your conservative bent somehow overlooked that fact?

    4. Again, selective reading is your strong point in LaLa Land, but a dreadful weakness in a general discussion here. Overlooked all the points I made because you know you don't have a rebuttal except disregarding those points I've made. Obama and Congress managed to repeat DADT and you're telling me that's not progress? That is just but ONE thing he did to champion gay rights. Oh, and not to mention, Obama actually went to the GOP conference back in 2010 and spoke to all the Republicans there.

And I'm not referring to Romney going to the NAACP, as much as he's pandering to a right-wing base. He's no longer a moderate given his stances. He soften his stance on illegal immigration after the debates and also harden his stance on abortion...all of which to pass the GOP litmus test. Honestly Jimmy-poo, you need to read more.

    5. And yet he would be willing to offset some of those deals with tax cuts and have been handling the state of California, despite much of it troubles just fine. You're a silly man.

    6. - Obama is the commander-in-chief and he actually gave the order, the same way he gave the order to get into Pakistan, without the consent of the Pakistani authorities, and killed Osama bin Laden.
    - He could have had Bush to give off the speech, but for foreign relations-sake, Bush didn't want to get involved in politics at that time and would enjoy not being laughed at.
    - Iran never cared about sanctions even when Bush was in office. But tell me, why would you want to WASTE money on blowing up a country because it's being completely antagonistic? Again, that hard-nosed ideology only works in the movies, not in real life. We're here to save money and build our economy remember? Selective thinking, Jimmy-poo. Selective reasoning...

    7. Of sure, the wealthy is will always remain wealthy, which means they can afford to give a little more money to spur the economy instead of putting it all in offshore funds and other areas, which is also costly to the American people. Somehow, you've missed that.

Bingo MS, that is his M.O. I have posted irrefutable proof debunking many of his assertions and most of the time he just disregards and continues pushing the same untruths in separate threads. When I respond to his posts it is mostly for the edification of others who may have an interest, as I know I will not get an honest debate with James.

Obama is seen as a weak president outside? That is the most deluded statement i ever heard. Obama is respected around the world unlike Bush who was ridiculed by the outside world just like Romney would be ridiculed in the unlikely event of him winning. Just because Obama believes in dialogue instead of unecessary war which is at great cost to America the right wing think he is weak. Had it been a Republican America would gone to war against Iran and Syria and gettimg America into deeper shit. With a tea party zealot as a VP candidate the chance of Romney winning is getting slimmer by second.

Romney is supposedly going to select Paul Ryan as his veep!!
Lock it up, Barack is gonna coast to his 2nd term, if the DOJ can overturn all these bogus voter suppression laws being enacted by Republican governors across the county.

Can we see your federal income taxes yet, Willard??:smt043

Romney Hood and the adult Eddie Munster. This race should be good. Or should I say, very entertaining.

Romney may have Bruce Wayne stacks, be he definitely is not a superhero. Romney is too shady and secretive to have the pure heart or intentions of caped crusader.

Barack is the Joker?? The villain?? Not really.

I'd say he's more Commissioner Gordon, doing his damnedest to keep Gotham City safe from crime, but lacks the resources to stay ahead of the crooks and psychopaths.

We the PEOPLE = the Batman.:smt109
    Obama/Biden 2012.

    Because the alternative is suicide.:axe:

Now Romney, who's been fairly amorphous on policy, has to further defend Paul Ryan's draconian budget to seniors and women. The threat to Medicaid alone should sink Romney in Florida.

    Good luck.

Seems like both political parties are taking hits at the same time. Obama's job approval has dropped to 43%, Romney has fallen in the polls because of negative advertisements, China is losing economic power (it's exports fell to 1%), and global economic pessimism is increasing.

I think there's a good fraction of Americans who want a third-party candidate, but don't have anyone in mind to vote for. More people might actually just stay home or write-in a candidate's name on election day.

No, like the Ohio Attorney General approving early and extended voting in republican leaning precincts and denying the same voter access in democratic precincts.

Fewer polling machines, less hours to vote, there are several shady activities being taking by the GOP to tilt this election from a tactical on the ground standpoint.

And if you don't have a photo ID, many states are NOW requiring you to present your ORIGINAL birth certificate to receive an ID. That's not easy to do for most people, especially the working poor.

    Ryan as Veep

Yes it is Romney Hood and Eddie Mumster to the rescue. It will be a exciting campaign run by the wingnuts. My goodness,Obama will win a second term alright and when the DOJ get rid of the voter ID's and supression of Democratic counties in Ohio and elsewhere it will be a breeze in spite of billions of dollars to defeat him.
