5 Possible Future Trends: As I see It.

1. Michigan will become a Islamic State by the end of this century.

2. Mexico will annex California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas by the end of this century.

3. Minorities (i.e asians, hispanics and africans) will outnumber the white european descent population.

4. China will be the world's superpower in Asia challenging Japan. There will be a war for dominance between China and Japan.

5. Brazil will challenge the United States as the superpower of the Americas.

 

1. and 2. won't happen.

3. Has already happened. There are more than 2 billion asians on the planet so they outnumber everyone.

4.Japan has no army. China will still have a population problem.
5. China is to North Korea as Brazil is to venzuela(sp). They wil have issues with hugo chavez before the usa.

To be fair, I think he's talking about America and by 2050, Hispanics will outnumber Non Hispanics of European Decent, that is correct.

China will not be a Superpower, why? Until it has a robust and thriving Middle Class, it won't happen. Even if it happens so what? We won't be like the Roman Empire or the British Empire or the Spanish Empire. Its super unlikely though because backlash against selling America down the river is growing everyday.

The Japanese aren't going to war with anyone. They have no offensive military to speak of and a rapidly aging and contracting population.

I don't know if there are going to be any real superpowers as currently defined in the near future. Brazil is one of the world's emerging economies along with Russia, China and India, but that's not exactly a secret.
