A board about White Women and Black Men..

ok.. I'm just curious .. if you aren't a White Woman.. or a Black Man, why would you join this board?

Now I don't personally care who is on any board I am on, as long as people can respect our choices, for instance in a board such as this, I don't particularly want, expect or invite a White Man or Black Woman to tell me my preferences are wrong. This is the one place I feel I should be able to talk about it, and not catch the typical bias that you get everywhere else..

but my question is really why? why would you care to be here..

Only a few times have I accidentally jumped into a chat room for BW and WM and the minute I realized it, I was out of there like lickety split.. I have no interest in being in a group like that, nor do I expect they would get all excited about me joining..

and keep in mind.. I REALLY don't care who is on a board with me so the intent of this thread was not to bash, belittle or anything negative.. I'm just trying to understand the draw?

Does that make sense?

I'm not a black woman or a white man but I would like to just say that, Sassy I like the way you think.

We should, I feel, learn from each other and have fun at the same time at this site but sometimes I know I'll get caught up in saying the same thing over and over again to some people about how I like who I like but it does not mean that I hate you.

Some people just can't believe that.

Why ask the question in the first place? You are not going to get an answer. But I can tell why they post free country. This is not IRF, as long as the person is not causing any problems why should we question why their here.

I never said this was any other board that what it was..

but this is the first board I've been on with BW and so I wondered.. I've got several close friends who are blk and they wouldn't bother being here, so I wondered the attraction.

It seems to me that there are intelligent black women on here who are not here to just cause drama from what I have seen, so I thought they might share some insight. I totally respect and am interested in their opinions. That's all. On Blackenize they don't allow anyone but BM or WW. And how many BW are on IRF? so get off my case please..

 

Yes it does O sassy one ;-) . I don't quite remember what I was googling for when I found this site, but I stayed and joined because I was trying to figure out why I was, and still am, exclusively attracted to WW. Thats the appeal the board had for me, and I've learnt a lot since I joined the discussions. I've also been able to explain why I'm a whitophile. WW are cute!

I can't speak for the few black women and white men who post here, but I'm a black man who has weighed in on other internet forums involving wm and bw. One of those sites is a movie website where the movie "Something New" was being discussed. Most of the posters there are bw and I felt the need to get into the forum because a few of the sistas were unfairly bashing bm. I had to remind them that daddy's home by administering a few verbal spankings to the hind quarters of the guilty participants. Surprisingly, the vast majority of the members there were interested in what I had to say and I still post there to this very day.

Personally, I like it when the sistas respond to threads here because they have a way of getting the crowd hyped. Lexington was one of my favorites and so was this black girl from Maryland who was banned by our beloved, almighty webmaster here. I'm interested in hearing what the black women have to say about bm/ww relationships because I'm not too far removed from the days when I exclusively dated them. I would still date a black woman (or any other race of woman) if she's the right girl for me. Some black women think that bm who are with ww hate black women; I want them to know that's not the case at all.

So far, most of the white guys who've posted here during my membership are the types who enjoy watching the brothers drive home Miss Daisy every once in awhile (if you know what I mean, lol). I don't hate them either; to each his own. After all, I have a porn dvd that shows white guys banging black chicks along with the dvds I have of bm/ww. I've noticed that women seem to get more into it when the sex is interracial, but I digress.

I say the more variety of members, the better. And if they try to disrupt the site, we can handle them. There are plenty of great debaters here.

If I may jump back in here for a minute, I know for myself I find the few trolls that post here disruptive because we don't have a full time moderator, so they'll take over a thread with either personal attacks or by asking the same question over and over again. On other sites I belong to, the mods are quick to shutdown people that are disruptive but they will let people have heated talks when it's leading somewhere and it's not personal or flat out hateful.

I would like this site to be a place where people with an interest in black men and white women relationships could communicate with each other about the good and the bad and support each other as well. I would not go to racist site and post in there nor would I go to some other site and attempt to change peoples views or tell them that that are wrong for following their hearts.

Outside of our basic interest in each other, we are all very different people and that's going to bring mis-communication and misunderstanding all on its own, so I would not care to have “outsiders” adding to that. Some people come here just for a sex hookup and some are here for real relationships, so that's going to cause conflicts in and of itself too.

Let's be honest here.... Many people in the “real world” are not all that supportive of what we believe in. It would be nice if we could have a place free from that for a few minutes a day.

 

No I am not causing trouble, I was just pointing out that this has been done to death already and like already stated some are just curious. I don't really see the big deal of a BW AW IW or any other race of woman coming in here as long as they are not causing problems.

 

Actually the fact that I don't see anyone causing problems is why I felt I could ask a question and get an intelligent/honest answer w/o anyone thinking I was either judging or attacking. Because it was neither.

This may have been done to death, but remember I am new here.

I have friends from a ton of different cultures, so I enjoy discussing things with everyone. As long as I am not getting hit on by WM (which happens when I am on a purely IR board w/o race/gender specifics), I don't really care who posts here. If everyone respects one another, I say the more the merrier..

Thank you, this is true as well. Which is why I have at times been more agreeable to the idea of keeping things specific to the theme. Trolls, no matter what your theme, are on boards for negative reasons and unfortunately generally want to hurt the board for their own entertainment.

You will always find them on any board and they come in all genders and races.

I've been on board where you can not have any thing outside the theme, such as blackenize. People, such as Injera, who happen to enjoy dating all races (which I do not fault in any way) usually to not like those restrictions. They want all opportunities open to them, not to mention want to hear from all. I don't fault that either.

I think for those of us who do have one preference, as designer said, in the real world, we do not always get a lot of support. Around every corner is someone who will knock us down for our choices. It is nice to be able to come to a place where others understand our preferences and we are not harassed for them.

I am trying to imagine myself at a WM/BW board...who knows.. maybe they'd be more accepting of my being there than I might have imagined.. I might be surprised. Maybe its something to think about.. Not that I would, but still...

 

Trust me sass you will like this board and trolls die a quick death here.

:idea: The thing with me is that I feel at home on this board with enough like minded people that even if we get the occasional IDIOT or 2 or 3 :shock: , we have enough strength to hold our own on what we feel. Plus the fact that I'm the type of person that I haven't said anything on this board that I will & have said on others as well as having done my share of slicing up TROLLS & IDIOTS TOO :!: :wink:
