It hasn't stirred up anything from what I'm seeing here. :) Give it a go and express yourself.

Then stay the fuck out thread and quit whining. So sick of women like you who complain about certain threads yet keep going to into them. People are allowed to have thoughts and opinions that don't match yours. Jesus.

    I am prolife personally.
I am pro choice for other people's choices

aka You want to kill your baby(under normal conditions) then it isn't my problem unless it is my baby(but I would have choosen a woman that would have the baby to begin with).

I guess you should explain pro-choice more thoroughly.

Politically, I'm pro-choice with exceptions, which means, if the fetus is not viable outside of the womb (up until the 3-4 month) then I'm pro-choice. After that, I'm pro-life. Late-term abortions are disgusting.

    Personally, I'm pro-life.

I'd wide you up in a minute

This. A woman's body is hers to decide what happens to it, and don't get me started on late term abortions.

I'm curious about one thing though. For those who would have late term abortions are you willing to take care of and raise the child if the mother conceives? Or know of anyone who would?

As am I. Women can't be having "buyer's remorse" when a human being is at stake. And TDK, it's called adoption.

Are you guys kidding? Have you seen foster care any where on planet earth?
The rate of a adoption is far behind the rate of available kids to be adopted.
You love your children and you want to take care of them fine, but I don't see how flooding the world with more unwanted people makes things any better. We are already overpopulated, I just don't see nor understand the position that more people is a good thing. Especially when the individuals promoting the idea aren't going to personally take care of the kids. Its like pushing for war but not being willing to pick up a gun and fight.

Ok. I'm pro-choice, simply because there isn't just one scenario we're talking about. Rape victims, incest victims, people with mental illness, people with drug/alcohol addiction, children/teens falling pregnant, people living in absolute poverty, birth defects etc... There are so many different scenarios to consider that, in my mind, the only choice is "pro-choice".

It's not up to me or anyone else to decide whether or not a woman should give birth to the baby she has conceived, regardless of the circumstance it was conceived in.

And this is not to say that I agree with someone, aborting a baby, when they have a job, a roof over their head and are fully capable (finacially, mentally and physically), of looking after a baby they conceived because they, stupidly, didn't use protection. -I hope that sentence makes sense-

I just think that it's up to them to make the decision, doesn't matter what my opinion on their decision is. It's not my business.

    Personally: Pro-Choice
    Politically: Pro-Choice

When it comes to the issue of abortion rights, I strongly feel it's the woman's decision ultimately regardless of whether the person is involved or not. Not only that, there are plenty of legitimate grounds on performing abortions, whether they are within any trimester. Not just in the cases of rape, incest, or the mother's life is in danger, but for any trivial reason. Call me radical, but my assumption is women and girls would know what's best for themselves.

Also, there are legitimate grounds to do abortions in some circumstances, which include the following:

    1. The possibility of having a child with special needs (mental and physical)
    2. Overpopulated planet

    (To name a few)

Some would suggest that adoption would be a justified case, but in all honesty, it's worse than being aborted. While adoption is a viable option, adoption facilities just aren't adequate to the growth of the children. It's not really their fault as much as lack of funding. And orphans generally wouldn't lead strong lives and would keep moving from broken home to broken home. If they wind up with a good, loving family, then that's only a slim chance of that happening.

Hence I say, safe haven laws are generally a waste.
