    Unarmed?

Did you not see the part where it states that Hamilton fought with the cop before beating him with his own night stick? Did you skip over the part where the witnesses say they seen both men fighting?

Stop trying to get sympathy for cases like this and focus on cases like garner and gurley

Although..in hindsight....u could make the claim that the improper pat down (which got the cop fired in the first place) caused Hamilton to react that way, and that the cop was responsible for how everything unfolded

    Fuck

Sad indeed. You will not hear that on Fox News.

Yeah, but that shit is no excuse to act up like that. Just like someone insulting you is no real excuse to punch someone in the dick. However, 14 shots is excessive. How many shots hit the dude? And it takes a while to get off 14 shots. I would think dude would've stopped in his tracks after the first couple shots unless he was shermed the fuck out.

So are we prosecuting cops for using their gun in the first place or for firing too many shots?

    This shit is nuts

If you are fighting with a solo cop and smack him with his own baton, ur asking for it because cops do be getting killed and u obviously don't give a fuck about him

My ass is going home tonight

I recall a case in NYC when cops there shot a black man to death over 30 times. NOW THAT WAS EXCESSIVE. All because of the weapon he allegedly had in his possession. It wasn't a weapon at all. I once saw a video clip of a cop shooting a man after her was handcuffed. The officer was covering the officer who put on the cuffs and then the gun went off. Despite all this negative publicity, I know cops who are not like that.

Sheeeit, I'm not playing vigilante and swinging on some cop. I'd be scared as shit if I snapped back to reality and realized I grabbed a cop's weapon. Sittin' there with the whodunnit face n' shit.

How about we just convert this thread into a running tally of victims? It would be easier.

Most cops aren't going to fly off the handle and get crazy n' shit. If you are polite with an officer, they will work with you. Of course, recent events do have me just a LITTLE paranoid.

    Victim? Lol

Honestly I've never had a bad run in, ever, and my ass was poorer than a mug

Then again, I've never lived in a city that sanctioned stop and frisk policies, where cops target blacks and hassle them without cause

I've also never put myself in a position to be locked up (ie commit a crime), which makes you more likely to experience bad policing. Criminals have rights too, and when a cop violates that......well

Mike Brown tried to get Daren Wilson's gun too... or so Daren Wilson says...

Witnesses say that punches were thrown as the two men fought (the Milwaukee case)

You fist-fight with a cop and get shot in the process, that's your problem

You can't play around with officer safety

But still...u have to consider that the cop caused this incident with moves that ended up losing him his badge...so...fuck

He oversteps his authority, gets into a fight, then kills someone

    Sounds like George zimmerman 2.0

Yes you do, lol. Don't you remember..

"Philadelphia, stops nearly doubled to more than 200,000 from 2007 to 2008. Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter began an aggressive stop-and-frisk policy in the year since his election in November 2007 and overall crime has dropped. Although, how much can be attached to the policy isn't specifically known."

Lol. Though he can say that as a BM, and with intensive S&F, he's never been bothered.

    Ps:, FLL has it, too.

In fact, l believe every State since the 1960's has it, with the exception of New York who had it challenged last year.

    I stand corrected

Still, I've never been bothered by cops and I fit the profile of a typical big scary black guy, who'd frequently be out at 1 or 2 in the morning in white and black neighborhoods

For some reason whenever I picture you, Will Smith (Fresh Prince) comes to mind. A goofy, affable animated guy, yakking it up with Philly folk.
Anyhoo, your luck might change and a couple of female police officers will stop and frisk you.
