From what you posted there it doesn't look like it's pointing to a picture, more of a folder. If it is an actual photo, the problem is probably in the fact that there's no file extension (i.e., .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, etc). rename the file and make sure it has the file extension after the file name, but first make sure you're clicking on a picture and not a folder. Otherwise try uploading the picture on tinypic.com or some other hosting site and then just use the direct link option instead of uploading the picture on here from your computer. I just uploaded a new avatar, and the string looks like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Arizona\My Documents\My Pictures\Picture\Picture 049z.jpg
