I don't know what it was, but I was definitely knocking on wood, and counting blessings. While I've had my share of speeding tickets... I've been very lucky a few times as well. Here's one for ya. I once had a case where I was rushing to work because I had an early meeting a little time to prepare. Well... I was on the two lane (one way traffic flow) where the speed limit was 35 MPH, but it was in a somewhat desolate area, and usually people would drive much faster. There was a spot at the end of this stretch where cops sometimes setup their traps. It was such that if the cop was standing there, by time you spotted him... He had you. Well... On this morning, I decided to roll the dice, and in the process (going about 70 MPH) I passed a dude in an older Nissan 350Z which appeared to have mods. I never noticed him, but apparently I blew past him, and he took it as a challenge. Well... I hear dude downshifting and probably flooring it... He comes along, flys past me at probably at least 80 plus MPH. At this same time I'm starting to slow because we're getting to the end of that stretch, and I see the cop, and I'm cursing my luck. When I stopped (red light) the cop had motioned for dude to pull over, opened his door, and when he got out... immediately cuffed him. I was just like.... OH SHIT, and so happy that the cop's attention was no longer on me.
Holy shit, I probably would of been a ass about it pointing, laughing, and peeling out You guys reminded me, I really need to get a radar scanner asap.
I need that Jag. By the way, it was designed by the same guy that designed the new Ford Explorer, Land Rover Range Rover, as well as the Range Rover sport.
I know, right. I need one too, but what I really need to do is to keep my speed in check. Usually I do keep it in check, but I do break loose here and there. I think nearly all midsize, and compact SUVs scream soccer mom.
Multi-billionaire Warren Buffet has NEVER owned a new car.Even though that would be like buying a honey bun for him,he just can't act like a monkey long enough to do it. NEVER buy a new car. NEVER invest in something that loses value that fast. Don't buy this: Buy that: One will worth something if/when you got to sell it...the other will be worthless in 5 years. Take a guess which one.
These early MOPARS(chrysler, dodge, plymouth)are ahead of the market. Get one while you can. 1962 Plymouth Sport Fury: 1962 Dodge Polara
You like that 62,huh. The 62 polara interior is nice as well...this was before that awful plastic wood they started using in the late 60's and 70's
