Moderate here but ok good enough :) I think the one of the biggest problems with the republican party is simply the people they endorse. Romney the flip flopper, the tea party clowns, dubya ect... John McCain probably would have been a good president but why did they not support him in 99 instead of dubya?? Then when he was on the ticket Palin was his running mate. :smt036 Just too much buffoonery for most moderates to deal with. More genuine support is needed for candidates like Powell (even though he did not run) or McCain if the party is going to be relevant in the future. Anyway I am glad Obama won.

Obama campaign managers are hard core,
    I salute them very much
Congratulations to them, they wanted to win by any means necessary.
They made sure anything that gets thrown at Obama does not stick
Damn, they played the game to the bone.

Obama is one lucky & skillful politician, for Blk guy with all the issue that was dogging him, he won not once but twice and made history in still racist America

You act like they made a pigs ear look like a silk purse. Maybe he just was the better of the two candidates.

Agree, I think the R politicians that are endorsed right now are unfit at best and some pure whackjobs and they really need to find a good candidate and stop some of the outright weird shit.

What worries me is that R holds the majority of chairs and it will be hard for Obama to get things done (again) the next 4 years.

Pretty much FG, I mean when you have some of these nutters trying to explain the rape of women in regards to a pro-life viewpoint, its like, are you kidding me.

You wonder why they all crawled out of the woodwork to disparage women and rape at once. Was that what they decided their new platform was going to be?? The need to get real relatable issues to move forward on. Hating on women didn't play out this election. It made them look extremists and out of touch.

A pic of team rape that went down as a reminder it doesn't play in this era.

Well said, Jordi...that's one huge reason why these bastards lost. Even IF you thought that stupid shit about rape, which is bad enough, why in hell would you say that out loud??? So not only are they evil, but they are incredibly stupid. They deserved to go down in flames.

If Republicans want to ever have a real hope of regaining power, they'd better start listening more to people like Sen. John Danforth and Gen. Colin Powell and listening a lot less to people anti-Civil Rights Act retrogrades like Haley Barbour, Newt Gingrich and their ilk.

    Very well said bro.

But how do you when the party has some folks off the deep end and claim to support the banner.

I'm just glad that some of the ignorant ass wipes that talked about

making Obongo a 1 term president
put the white back in White House
Donald Trump, Koch Brothers, Ted Nugent, Rush Limbaugh, Fox "bullshit" News

Watching them run around like headless chickens trying to understand what is happening to the Republican Party and blaming any and everything from liberal perverts to Sandy to Benghazi cover up is sheer fun to behold.

All of them got a slap across the face in a resounding manner.

The party must appeal to a broader range of people as the demographics in America will only increase to their detriment if they fail to comprehend this.

The party cannot continue to be a refuge for archaic social nutters who cannot accept that this is 2012 America and not 1912.
