I hope he does plea. This guy is the most corrupt congressman that I have ever seen.

Sorry for the typo. He was a corrupt, rightwing Dem (later Independent and crypto-Republican) who was mobbed-up and convicted while in office from Ohio.

They totally get accustomed to voting for a person so reflexively that they might not even think about it. He went from Dem to Independent to rightwing over the course of his career and kept winning regardless.

He probably does a great job of right-wing race-baiting. Conservative voters have shown a bottomless appetite for that.
