Are you asking the murderers that question, or the murdered cartoonists?

I already think the murderers think it was worth it.

I just have a hard time of making a cartoon given the risk. Newspapers self censor often. This would have been a good idea to save lives.

So you are basically saying that they all should keep silent and not express their opinion anymore?
Congrats to the murderers in that case. They didn't only kill those people but made everyone live in fear so much that they don't dare to stand up for what they believe in.

To the person who neg repped me for this comment, it obviously flew over your retarded head.

Clearly then, you must agree that they should have cow-towed to the bombing terrorists who wanted them all dead, which is not unilke how the Southern KKK terrorists wanted to kill and silence blacks.

Which was my point. So fuckwit, next time, pay attention in class and get get a clue.

    No.

The people who attacked them are insane and terribly wrong for doing so, but that's no reason for me to buy the paper. I'm non religious but I respect ALL established religions not only because I believe in God but I'm not arrogant enough to assume my way is the correct way for everyone else. The freedom of speech to insult an established religion should come with the maturity not to do so. However if you buy the paper, that's on you, no hard feelings from me.

    Remember the old saying....

If you want to start a war, talk about religion or politics

LOl, so YOUR perceived level of immaturity ..equals a slaughtering death?

This is why I applaud the Free Beacon and the Huffington Post for exercising their freedom of the Press by re-printing the Charlie Hebdo satire cartoons, while other news outlets cowered in fear of reprisal.
And after seeing the cartoons, guess what, they included lampooning images of Christianity and Judaism as well. Yet only one of the religion's followers decided to hunt down 12 people and murder them for it. Appalling.

    No.

The topic is about buying the paper, and I'm simply giving my reason for not doing so. It's wasn't about whether or not we condone terrorism. Like I said tho, If you want to buy the paper, no hard feelings from me. We have the right to be immature in the western world and I fully support that right without being immature myself.

I wouldn't do that either if it offends the religion, However; I do support the second amendment even when people decide to use it for negativity. That's on them.

True. We can choose to leave it alone. Too much sunshine, beaches, white women and good whisky in this world for me to get caught up in that drama.
