Yep...thatwould be nice. Actually my man is great, except that he appears to be more committed to his 19 year old son than he is to me! I haven't seen him for 2 weeks because he has beenspending time with his son every weekend. I understand that I will never be first, because of his son, just the same way his needs won't take precedence over my kids (my youngest are 12 and 13), but jeepers, second place is beginning to feel like last place to me!

no kidding... I know the feeling. the man I was seeing who has often just put me off always had "family" obligations that came before me. I understand.. I have 5 kids... ages 23, 20,17,14 and 3 but DAMN I always try to make time for everyone who is important in my life

I would understand if his son was even 16ish or younger. But the boy is a sophomore in college...is through with that craziness that teenagers sometimes go through! I am trying to behave myself because our time together is great. We go out and have lots of fun.But it is starting to feel silly saying I am in a relationship with someone I see twice a month!

You know...like an imaginary friend! The man that is never around! I really think the deal is that he is on the downhill slope in terms of libido and is embarrassed by it...sorry for the excess information!!!

Oh I don't mind ... no problem. How long have you been "seeing" him? Do you think it is decreasing libido or downside of a failing relationship? I'm not saying it is.. but if you are only seeing him once a month maybe he is out with someone other than his 19 year old son. I know I know.. I so negative but since I've been there you always think the worse.

I know what you mean. Once you've been burned, its hard to trust and its so easy to be cynical. I am that way myself. I have been seeing him since mid-Dec. I think he is truthful, but who knows for sure? I have been to his home several times and it certainly is a "guy" house! Nice enough, but certainly no woman has inhabited it for a long time! He recently met my kids, after both of us really taking our time with him meeting them. Neither of us wanted to rush into it. The thing is that I have presented myself as a very independant person, and think I may have been giving him mixed messages. So next time we see each other, I think I will just tell him that I enjoy his company and wold like to see him more frequently.
